I have eaten here two days in a row now because the food is THAT good! My fillet was perfect, my oysters Rockefeller was amazing and the lobster Mac WOW! Service is phenomenal as well! As far as steakhouses go this is Tops in Michigan as far as I’m concerned and I have tried them all!

I can’t say enough good things about Cameron’s! The food is outstanding, the wait staff very professional and the atmosphere is great. It’s just a great place for a fun night out. It is expensive but there is value in it. We really enjoyed the filet Oscar and ribeye steaks. The Brussels sprouts side was even a treat!

We had our office party at Cameron’s and although we made reservations in advance, they were ill prepared for our group of 38. They stuck us all at the overcrowded bar for the cocktail hour and most of our guests waited 30 minutes for a drink. The dinner was overpriced and very average. Side dishes were 1 star and the few vegetarians meals served were a 0 rating. Maybe they are more focused on couple’s dining, but if that’s case, do your guests a favor and don’t book large groups. It was my first and last time at Cameron’s!

Went to Camerons last night for Thanksgiving dinner with a large group. Although the reservation was made well in advance they failed to have a table for us. We were eventually seated in the bar after 25 minutes. We had to ask to see the wine menu which took another 10 minutes to get which was baffling because the place was half empty. Service getting the drinks was poor enough but that was not the worst of it. Our food eventually came but was placed on trays close enough to see but sitting there, but nobody brought it to the table. When we asked the waitress why it was sitting there she said the busboy wasn’t supposed to bring it out. She served it and of course it was cold. Some meals were undercooked. Half of the side dishes never came. The manager Andy was useless, kept saying he was looking into what the problem was. He never came back to the table. After 2 plus hours we were ready to leave. Hungry and exhausted we went looking for Andy. We finally found him coming out of the kitchen holding 3 desserts that was his way of making things okay. We said keep your desserts we haven’t even eaten yet. Left there disgusted with our experience. All of us live in town, own businesses in town, and will never give another nickel to this poor excuse for an upscale steak house.

I mean where do you start? The dessert? Yes yes yes! This was absolutely the best Crème Brûlée I’ve ever had. I’m not even a dessert person but you must try it! My salmon was cooked to my liking, and it was also perfect. There was no fishy smell to it and it melted in my mouth. Just the right amount of spices and sauce(hardly any) and it tasted excellent. Most restaurants bathe their fish in salts-yuck…glad this wasn’t the case. Broccolini was good too, nice and crispy. To top it off, they had Syrah on the menu which most steakhouses in the area don’t! I will of course come back and experience the same type of joy!!! Cheers!

Went here for a private event. The room they put us in was way too small and we were all uncomfortably smushed in. Started with the salad, had great dressing and homemade croutons. Then got the filet mignon. I asked for it medium and it was over cooked. Still tasted pretty good. For sides we have mashed potatoes, really creamy and green beans. For dessert we had carrot cake. It was unbelievable and I usually don’t even like carrot cake.

Simply amazing… Sonya, our server was a gem for one! I ordered lobster bisque, 12 oz. ribeye medium rare, and a side of mac & cheese for dinner, and for dessert I shared the crème brûlée and bread pudding with a friend. There is not one thing I could complain, food was fantastic, one thing I would say is I did not appreciate the vibe I was feeling from the gentleman in a suit at the front door when we arrived: we had just come from a super casual event so we were dressed a teeny bit down and you could get the feeling he did not want us to possibly dine there — $ 500 later on a slow Sunday evening, I think he was ok with it ;) I love Cameron’s overall, I always end up coming back for more!

The manager refused to intervene, after several requests, to ask parents of a shreaking baby to comfort their child. This experience destroyed our father’s day celebration. The surly, nasty, arrogant, man has no business taking the title of manager since he most certainly has no managerial skills. We will never return as well as everyone we can share our story with.

Great steak– and that’s all. Went for an anniversary. Showed up for our reservation early and was able to get a table(clearly not slammed on a weekend night). I was carded when ordering a drink. I am clearly not 21 anymore and find that offensive when you’re spending as much as you will here. The bar was out of ingredients. The lobster bisque has no meat in it and was served without a spoon(I had to wait for someone to come around). The sides were ok, steak was delicious. Our server forgot to ring in a bottle of wine and brought a second tab for me to pay. I’ve been treated like more in places I have spent much less than a night here.

Service was great — food was just decent and my wife’s steak was over cooked. Not cheap, and a lot of competition now in town for steakhouses. Still good, and better than Flemings around the corner.

Our new favorite Restaurant. Have been here twice and each time they exceeded our expectations. The steaks are great. However, they had a 24 ounce Australian lobster tail today. It was outstanding as it should have been for $ 100. Total bill for two with no drinks was $ 240 including tip. So it is a bit expensive, but definitely worth every penny.

Solid restaurant during restaurant week. Was bummed about the portions but I being a rw veteran knew what I was getting myself into. App: lobster bisque tied with the dessert for the best dish on the menu. The lobster bisque was pretty standard but most restaurants can’t even pull standard off. So if you have a good lobster bisque then you earned your seat at the big boys table. Main course; filet 7 oz. A 3⁄5 at best. Maybe it was cooked wrong maybe it wasn’t. I think I am not a steak guy. I probably won’t end up ordering steaks anymore at restaurants. I’ll stick to fish or something. Once had a friend tell me a good steak is one that you don’t need a knife, your fork can slice right through it. I had to saw through this beast. Very disappointed. Also did I mention that you had to order side dishes cause they are not included in the restaurant week menu. Peeved at that. Restating my case: the steak was really hard to cut through. Dessert ! Bread pudding was delish! No more needed. To summarize I probably won’t come here again. Not cause the food wasn’t too good, but because it is expensive but has nothing«special» to offer.

One of the better Steakhouse resturants in Metro Detroit. I had the 11oz Filet mignon with shirmp and a side of broccoli. The calamari is also good. I like how the chef added hot peppers to give a different flavor. The ambience is great and the service staff is good too.

Wow! Just had Christmas dinner here. And it was absolutely fabulous. There were 9 of us. We sat at a huge round table and proceeded to be wined and dined. The menu is short and sweet. They offered a prix fix menu which most of my family ordered. Several good options. My husband had the filet which was perfectly cooked medium well. He asked to have it butterfly however, our waiter Jonathon said it wasn’t necessary. He assured him it would be cooked too perfection and it was. His prix order included a beautiful walnut apple blue cheese salad. Since he wanted the hand cut fries it was extra. But the fries were worth it. Also included dessert. He also had a shrimp cocktail and they were huge and delicious. I had oysters and carppacio. It was awesome. Our family had Lamb Chops which were tender and also perfectly cooked. Chicken, Stripped Bass and Scallops. Everyone raved about their dishes. The Scallops came with lemon risotto and it was tender and so good. The bread is to die for. And I was impressed that they gave us 2 bread baskets so it made it easier to pass around instead of waiting for it to come around and having to wait on more. Our bill totalled approximately $ 530.00. Tip not included. We also had wine, cocktails and coffee. I had the crème brûlée and wanted to lick the dish. The prix menu included a brownie cheese cake and fudge with nuts and cranberry. That was also really good. I will be calling the general manager Monday morning to thank them for starting a Christmas tradition. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I recently went to Cameron’s. I like the interior, it’s very modern and cozy but not overly pretentious. I feel that Cameron’s atmosphere is superior to Flemings. I sat at a booth and they are a bit of a tight squeeze, but comfortable. I’m always worried about pulling off the tablecloth getting in or out because I’ve definitely done it before and no one wants to be that person. Our server was very attentive but was not hovering at any point. For dinner, I had a 7 oz filet and ordered the broccoli and au gratin potatoes. The filet was cooked perfectly to medium, as I had ordered. The potatoes were really good, covered in cheese and had a crispy taste to them. The broccoli was just alright. It was a bit undercooked and was served with béarnaise. I guess I’m not a huge fan of béarnaise but their sauce was quite flavorless. It didn’t matter because I didn’t plan on eating it anyway. The sides are definitely big enough for two people. For dessert, I got the carrot cake. I wish they would have warned me. It literally has to be a quarter of a cake, I’m not kidding. It was 8 layers or some ridiculous amount. I took most of it home because it was so large, I barely made a dent. But the cake was very moist and delicious. The frosting could have used a bit more cream cheese, it tasted more of buttercream than cream cheese frosting. But again, that’s my own personal preference. Overall, really tasty meal. They have a great winelist and the service was attentive.

I would say this is a fancy restaurant. When I first walked in, it has this water fall right next to the entrance. If you want to have a anniversary or Valentine’s day dinner here, this would definitely impress your date. However, where we were seated was so closed to other tables that i thought i was gonna bumped into other’s table. We ordered lobster bisque, filet migon, lobster, and scallop. When i asked for medium rare for my filet migon, the steak cooked to medium. After i told my server, he was nice to give me another steak that was cooked perfectly. The sea scallop are just okay. It is the typical sea scallop you get from a fancy restaurant. Overall, they food are good, but i am not impressed enough for me to go back again. If you decide to come here, you expect to spend ~$ 50/person without any wine.
