Dick’s Sporting Goods

Just bought a second pair of shoes from here, the guys in the back are very nice and helpful. I once forgot a coupon for that day at my house, and they just decided to ring it up so I got my full discount. Love this place and I will definitely continue shopping there, it is my sports go to store

Basically: don’t ever go to dicks! They are overpriced and have terrible customer services. GO TO ACADEMY!
Now for my bad experience:
I walked in this Dick’s at 6:45 looking for a pair of work boots. I found exactly what I wanted at 6:50. Here is where I get frustrated, they keep their shoe boxes in the back so the only way to get your size is by the assistance of an employee. There was about 10 people waiting for assistance and after 20 minutes with NO sign of an employee to help I walked all the way to the front and asked for them to send one to help. 5 minutes after that, an employee finally shows up, it’s about 7:20 now. I patiently waited for my turn for another 10 minutes. Well after 40 minutes of waiting I finally get some help. He came back after 5 more minutes to tell me that both shoes I was interested in were out of my size so I asked for the size smaller. He then told me they don’t have those shoes at all… Not even the other shoe of the display! I had wasted an hour just to find out they don’t have my shoes… I went to academy very frustrated. Academy was great and is now where I will be going instead of dicks.

There is no men’s department left. I went in to buy some shirts and pants for a man but now it’s a 100 X 100 yard sports bra shop. Wtf!

We had to find a baseball mitt and we called and they had it. We drove an hour and a half to get there, they had it waiting. Great staff, great store.
