Farida Salon

It took a couple of years after moving here from Chicago to find a place that could manage a proper haircut. I’ve found such a place with Farida Salon. It’s not easy to tailor a cut that is the right look for every variation of hair and head shape, and Diane knows exactly what is best for every type. She has abundant flair for detail, attention and care for the client, and the whole package is executed for a totally reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Finally a place that cut’s my wife’s hair that she is happy with! Eco friendly so it’s the one place for hair care that won’t give you a headache the second you walk in. I can’t stand the smell of hair salons because of the heavy chemicals that are in the air (and everywhere else), but because of the product brands that are used at Farida’s (EVO) I don’t mind waiting at all while my wife gets her hair done.
She’s had a few hair cuts done as well as some coloring, the coloring job lasted much longer than any other place where she’s had it done in the past, and as I said before she’s extremely happy with the hair cuts. You can also buy the EVO products at the shop, they cost a little more but they seem to last at least 3 times longer than regular brands.
There are plenty of places we could go to that are much closer, but after finding someone who does things right, it’s worth the drive.

My sister and I have been going to Diane for over 8 years. We both have very curly hair. Our hair has never looked better! She is an expect in cutting curly hair. My hair has a great shape and lots of volume on top of my head. She has taught me how to properly apply hair products to ensure my curls are look their best. She is constantly updating and learning new techniques. My Mom recently started going to Diane and her hair has never looked better. I would highly recommend going to see Diane.
