Hampton Inn Trussville

The place had a great rate but everything comes at a cost. We checked in an hour early only to get keys to a room that had not been cleaned. The bed had no linens and there was trash and a small vile of what appeared to be drugs. Instantly left the room with my children and promptly got another room. However the 2^nd room I my family and I lugged our luggage to was not the room we reserved either. It’s pretty uncomfortable to sleep a family of five in one bed so we yet again brought our luggage downstairs and checked out. Total time in hotel was under one hour. Receptionist was not very happy with our decision and said «Have a nice stay somewhere else!» Needless to say I won’t be recommending this hotel to anyone. We are currently enjoying our stay at the Sheraton for surprisingly the same price and couldn’t be happier. You might want to check it out!

Absolutely disgusted.

While a convenient place to stay this hotel was not perfect. The lobby space seemed impressive and the lady who checked me in seemed nice. However my room had a very distinct oder of sweat and musk. The mattress was well worn and lumpy, needs to be replaced and I found toothpaste residue in my shower. I also found it strange that the front desk called and woke me up at 9:25pm to check on if I was enjoying my stay. It’s after 9, leave me alone and we will talk tomorrow.

This Hampton has been here a while, but it looks like they’re renovating parts of the property with fresh paint and carpets. Our room was nice, clean, and comfortable, and the front desk person was friendly and helpful. It’s also very convenient to the highway and restaurants
For the rate we got, I would stay here again

This property could use a little help. It is shopworn to say the least. The bathroom could be a little cleaner. They were painting in the lobby when I arrived so maybe things are looking up. I’m willing to give it another shot.

Pam checked us in and we didn’t have a reservation but was very accommodating and offered us bottled water. The complimentary breakfast in the morning satisfied a hunger pain. The rooms were freshly laundered. Bathroom needs a little TLC but I attribute that to it being an older building.
