Hardee’s

The drive thru service is very fast. Chicken fingers were very good. Sweet tea wasn’t as sweet as I like.

Until today, I don’t think I have visited a Hardee’s in about 20 years. Alabamans love Hardee’s, but Georgians not so much. My 87 year old uncle, 86 year old aunt and 78 year old mom love Hardee’s, so I agreed to pick some breakfast up. My uncle had a sausage and egg biscuit and my aunt and mom had gravy and biscuits and I had a cheese and egg biscuit. We all had hash rounds. I was really surprised how good the biscuit was. The eggs and cheese were okay. Next time, I’ll just get a biscuit and hash rounds. Needless to say, everyone else thought they were eating gourmet food.

The drive thru attendant was snippy, and the burger was clearly pre-​made and tossed in the microwave… Unimpressive…

What a great surprise to find a fast food place that takes care of you.
We were greeted by a friendly trainee. She took our orders with a smile. Her manager stood by with a smile ready to help.
We ordered Jim Beam barbecue burgers, onion rings and fries, skin on and crispy, and small nachos; eating lightly for sure. The sauce on the burger was spicy and sweet and the sides were piping hot. Th nachos would have been great if the chips weren’t all crumbs. They still had great flavor and fresh toppings.
We took a table number, after we ordered, the food was brought to the table. They checked on the entire dining room at least twice while we were there. The store was very clean, and a television played for diners.
Overall a great fast food experience. Hot, fresh food and a friendly environment.
