Extremely disappointed. I was hoping to allow my kids to play for a few hours before a long car ride, but had to leave less than a hour after arriving(a waste of money). First, my daughter was jumping in the bounce house and flew out of the huge hole in the side. When I approached the manager, she simply said sorry and deflated it. Second, there were a ton on teenagers! Both my daughter and son were knocked down on one bounce house obstacle course multiple times. Now I know this can happen easily but the amount of teenagers and daycare summer camps there at one time made it impossible for them to stand back up and get out without me climbing in. Don’t think we will revisit this place.

This place is fantastic for kids birthday parties. It’s a one stop shop that keeps you from having to decorate, cook, and clean. The interior is full of large inflatable jumpy houses/obstacle courses. They were great for both our two year old and five year old. In addition there was a decent size arcade. Probably the coolest part was the indoor go-kart track. They were electric, so no smelly fumes. The height restrictions were a bit limited, so only some of the kids could ride. No biggie. My only complaints are with the lack of AC use and outside signage. The place was pretty hard to find, even though we knew where is was. Once there, it was pretty stuffy the entire time. Overall, this place is great for kids and parents alike.

Best for under 10yrs. I went to Trussville Playstation with a 6, 8 and 9 year old and found no way that my wife and I could ride with all three kids at the same time due to age restrictions. Here at iJump the kids ride by themselves on electric karts indoors which are safer and cleaner than the ones at Trussville. If you want to ride and are taller than 5 ft, however you are out of luck. Fortunately, there is a very comfortable Parents’ Lounge where you can relax with your back literally turned to the bouncy house jungle while your kids run themselves ragged. It was not busy on the Sunday afternoon I was there. The staff was very friendly. They also have a rock wall, video arcade and accommodations for parties.

While the idea behind iJump is great, the prices for just jumping on the inflatables are reasonable($ 8.50 per kid for 2 hours), and the Parent’s Lounge is nice if the TV is working and IF you’re lucky enough to score one of the 10 seats, that is about where the fun stops. You can buy a combo ticket for $ 13.50 and ride the go-carts and do the rock wall, as long as your kids do not have high expectations of either. The go-carts are VERY slow and the rock wall is about as dull as, well, a rock. So aside from the add-on’s that aren’t worth the money, what else contributes to the 2 star rating? For starters, there is no water fountain. But don’t worry, disinterested high school-aged kids will semi-happily sell you a bottle of water for two bucks. As far as food goes, you can buy a small frozen pizza for $ 5, nachos for $ 4, or similar. Not movie theater-style ridiculousness, but still aggravating after being nickeled and dimed thus far. There are only six inflatables in the whole place so you can imagine how long that will keep the average child occupied … nowhere near two hours. Not to worry though because, you guessed it, there is an arcade. An arcade where the games are expensive and the prizes cheap. The fact is that, if not for the turtle-speed go-carts and the rip-off arcade, there could easily be 5 more inflatables in the building. I, personally, would pay more for open play if they would do this, as would many of the other parents I talked to during our recent visit. Bottom Line: Your kid(s) will have fun but you should realistically plan on spending ATLEAST $ 30-$ 40 per child; money that, in my opinion, would be better spent elsewhere.

Have socks or you’ll have to buy them for $ 3.(learn from me) This is a very simple premise. You know those large inflatables that your child will spend 25 min in direct sun and 98 degree heat to jump in for 4 min? They have a building full of them, well like 6 of them. But these things are big. Big enough that adults can play. Which was surprisingly fun and totally worth the mickey mouse band-aid I have on my elbow! Inflatable«rug» burn is alarmingly painful. It isn’t that expensive(under $ 9 a child, if adults want to «play» then you are gonna cost $ 2.50) and it is for sure going to wear your child out in a magical way. In the air conditioning, and with your(optional) participation(my 4 yr old thought I was way cool while going down the deathly tall slide). I think this is what they call«family fun». It’s what I call, a integral part of my summer plan as a place to take cabin fever stricken children when it’s too hot to go outside. Which for me is in about 6 degrees, or two weeks. ;-/ If you don’t want to play, there are lots of plushy chairs and a large tv in the«parents lounge» and 3 and under are free and have a area where they can play with plushy jumpy things on a much smaller scale(with a window so you can watch older children you might be in charge of keeping alive).
