This jacks is right by me, so I go there pretty often. It’s always fast and the food is fresh. They actually put the seasoned salt on the fries unlike some other locations. The chicken is always good when I order it, and my husband loves their burgers. Out of the many, many times I’ve been here I have only had bad, cold food one time, and the manager fixed our order and gave us fresh fries. The staff is friendly, too, and they offer good, comparable replacements if they do happen to be out of your preferred fried chicken pieces. They are the only place around to get blue bell ice cream and milkshakes. Last summer, I dropped my scoop as I was walking to my table. The lady at the register gave me another scoop for free, which I thought was awesome. I highly recommend this jacks!

I love Jacks. I grew up eating it at the original location in Homewood. The one on highway 11 in Trussville is great too. This on the other hand was horrible. The chicken had too much pepper in the batter, the chicken wad cold, the fries were mushy, and the biscuit was flat and hard. When i tried to complain to the manager he was too busy flirting with an employee. I had wondered why the parking lot was always empty. Now i know.
