**NOW LA BIKINI** I just moved here from Atlanta and I was in search of a good wax salon and I definitely found it with these ladies. This place just changed to a solely wax salon, which I prefer for such a –ahem– delicate matter lol. The first time I went in I almost walked back out after a glance at the service menu– uh almost 3x more than what I’ve payed in Atlanta– *unless* you buy a membership. (Monthly membership for $ 43/​month one Brazilian I.e. «LA Bikini» included, then «member prices» for all services). They use some nouveau «sugar wax» and I believe they are all licensed estheticians, which is awesome in itself. The member prices are decent but not competitive, and I normally wouldn’t continue to pay unless the service wasn’t spectacular. They are professional, courteous and it’s a great wax for sure. I ended up getting roped into the membership and I’m going back again this week for a spray tan. Ask for Katie she is awesome. By far the best most –uh, thorough wax– I’ve ever had!

That’s right. I am a thirty-​six year old man that gets his back waxed. The fight to keep my hair from creeping from my head to my body began to overwhelm me. Razors couldn’t keep up. I was getting hair in places I couldn’t reach and my wife was definitely NOT into shaving my back.
Enter Katie. She is courteous and professional. She does a good job and keeps a slightly overweight man who is out of his element from feeling anxious. They do body sugaring and it works for about 4 weeks. My only complaint is that she misses a patch on each shoulder no matter how many times I ask her to get it. C’est la vie.
If you return buying a package will save you 15 – 20 $ each trip. I had no problems with mine like the other reviewer. The body sugaring (which does the same as waxing, but is more gentle and better for the skin) used to be a few dollars more expensive than waxing, but then they dropped all waxing services and all prices are consistent now.
Edit: I tried a new waxer (aesthetician??? I have no clue what to refer to them as!). Her name was Lauren. She was more attentive and did what I wanted after asking me to explain it to her. Thumbs up Lauren.

This place is a total rip off with high staff turn over. Do not buy their packages — they will take away your waxes for any reason so it actually costs more money than pay as you go.
