McCain Carpet & Flooring Inc

I dealt with McCain Carpet and Flooring Dec — end of July, 2015.
I do not recommend buying a home with carpet or flooring supplied by McCain. We went to them because our home’s builder used McCain. I hope your builder knows better.
December began with them making measurements. I spent a month trying to get them to return my call after measurements. No one returned my calls.
Then in May I decided we really want to get this done this summer and I tried McCain once again. They let me know our measurements were lost. They came out and did them again. They called back with price information and let me know that the finish was different from what we were going to match. I asked for a piece of the floor to see if it was a noticeable difference. That was reasonably agreed upon. I was told for weeks that their rep was going to bring it by their shop and I could pick it up. Then I was told the company was going to mail it to their shop. Weeks went by again and nothing. Then finally at the end of July it showed up. I picked it up and it matched fine. I called about setting up everything. Mr. McCain changed the price on us! He originally gave me two prices to begin with for two different rooms. One was for paying with a credit card and the other was for paying with cash/​check. He only wanted the amount to pay with credit card even though I was about to mail a check to him. He argued the price and flat out refused to keep his word on the cash/​check amount. I will make another plan for the flooring for our home. I was more than PATIENT with this company!
