One Source Heating & Cooling

Stay away from One Source A/​C unit was not cooling so I called one source. A tech came out and looked over the unit for a few minutes then said he needed to call someone to come with equipment to check for leaks in the coil. After 2 hours another tech shows up, after 2 minutes of being here I hear a knock on my door they said that my systems has a lot of issues. I was told I needed over 9lbs of freon for my 3.5 ton unit. I also needed to replace the coil for $ 1800 or get a new unit for $ 8-​$ 9k. I didn’t like the sound of the price so I paid the $ 69 for service call and decided to call someone else. I call Absolute Air and had someone out the next day. Turns out my unit is a 3 ton and only holds 7lbs of freon. The systems was 4.5lbs low and the coil did have a leak. The price to replace the coil was $ 986. I will be sure to never call One Source again and tell others not to.
