I try to eat at over easy at least twice a week. It is delicious and they are always great with my children. My children are a pain so they have the patience of Jobe. Be sure to get the Arriba. It rocks.

Not sure what the low reviewers had, but this place is fantastic. We had the Arriba Omelette & Veggie Omelette with biscuits and hashbrowns. It looked so good when it came out I forgot to take a photo. First I am not really a big Omelette fan because so many places over cook the egg, well not here. The egg was light and fluffy, the perfect consistency. The Arriba has chorizo and jalapenos, making for a spicy dish but not overwhelmingly so. The crème on top married the flavors perfectly. The Veggie contained mushrooms, spinach, onions and tomatoes. This was like a flavor explosion in your mouth. The hashbrowns were shredded, cooked perfectly just the right crunch and still soft inside each shred. Again the biscuits were cooked perfect, light and airy. The waitresses was very friendly and attentive, she even brought to go cups without us asking. Overall a phenomenal meal. We will be back many times. This breakfast themed restaurant is Worlds better than others in town.

The food here is really good. They cook everything in soybean oil so if you are like me(can’t eat soy) ASK for it to be cooked in olive oil or real butter. I love the veggie omelet. The hash browns are very good. The service was excellent! I highly recommend for breakfast!!!

Dang. This place. First off, let me say that this place always has a wait but they give you free coffee while you wait. FREE. I have been here many times and have never ordered anything bad. A huge win is that you get to pick a type of cheese. Any time you allow me to order anything I want with Gouda cheese, you have my heart.

Longer wait time than estimated by 20 minutes, slow service time, took way too long to get the food based on what was ordered and it was not even peak hours. Not a happy birthday brunch at all. I doubt we will be returning anytime soon. There was another dining room that was not even being utilized with 5 servers for 18 tables(mostly 2 tops) they certainly could have done better.

Even though this is a dedicated brunch establishment, I have only been here on Sundays around brunch time(10 – 11AM). The food selection and quality is great but sometimes the excessive/unexpected wait can be much(to where my review is closer to a 3.5÷5). Parking is not a problem in the shopping center in which Over Easy is located. During the aforementioned times, the estimated 20 – 25 minute wait is more like 35 – 45 so steel yourself and your stomach — do not go here super hungry because you will get sad/angry. Perk of waiting: there’s free coffee while you wait if coffee is your thing. If they’re super busy and you have a party of 2, they might sit you at the bar in the back without asking beforehand, just a heads up. The two-egg breakfast is a no-fail option — 2 eggs, breakfast meat(veggie sausage is an option), bread(I recommend the biscuit), hash browns or grits(I ask for both because I can’t pick). Must note that their blue corn grits with cheese are delish. Recently tried huevos rancheros with scrambled eggs, chorizo sausage, bell pepper, jalapeño, & salsa in two crispy tortillas(sort of like a breakfast quesadilla) with a side of hash browns, and it was great. Their food is very good, and I know over time that their service and handling of volume on weekends will improve, so I am looking forward to more visits to Over Easy.

It has been a few months since visting this restaurant and I was deeply disappointed with the service. It was 11:20 and they were already out of biscuits. For breakfast restaurant, you would think that would never happen. After waiting for our food for 25 minutes, the chef comes to the table and states part of our order is not available. Apparently, our waiter forgot to tell us after he placed the order. The food was very good, but the service and wait will make me think twice about going back. In November, my review of the restaurant was 5 Stars.

I absolutely love this place. I live within walking distance to the Acton Road location and eat here 3 – 4 times a month. Everything on the menu is great but the Arriba! Omelette and the Huevos Rancheros are truly standouts. The service can be a little frustrating on the weekends, but well worth the wait!

Sat there for 30 minutes when the hostess said 10. There were cleaned tables. Host was nowhere in site. Waiters and waitresses walked around like we were invisible. We got up and leave.

When a new place opens, I totally understand that it may take them a bit to get things together. After five visits to this new locale, it’s not getting better. The Acton location is sub par compared to the Homewood location. Food is sub par(example: The turkey sausage tasted like it sat in a freezer for a month), and waiting twenty minutes for your food in a half empty restaurant isn’t good. I hope they get their act together.

Great Food as always! Owner needs to re-train staff, and hostess. I don’t feel that it’s professional when your waiters and waitresses are yelling across the restaurant to the hostess not to seat people. Also, not very professional when they speak loudly enough to hear them say«I’m not serving them because I’m too busy» after you’ve already been seated. Sad to see the atmosphere and staff this bad a second location when the original has been so great.

Food– Meat was very dry in the 3 different omelettes we purchased. Hash Browns where over cooked. Layout– Front door is a double side by side door. The staff placed coffee outside so people waiting could have a cup. While it was a nice idea patrons stood with both doors open on a very cold day. They must have had a back door open because it created a wind tunnel that was horrible. You should realize you have a problem when the wait staff is working indoors while wearing winter coats. Staff– Very friendly Price– 3 people cost $ 45. Over cooked food in a freezing building made this price way too high.
