My wife and I had been spoiled after living close to my parents for a number of years so we had built in kitty sitters when we traveled. Moving 4 hours away made the prospect of that impossible, so I was on the hunt for someone to drop in on our fur babies while we were away. Thank goodness we’ve found Pet Care Aupair. What a fantastic service with some really kind and caring souls who will text us photos and updates while we are away so we don’t worry. They document everything for your return so you know who did their business, who got treats, and all the important stuff pet parents need to know. Our kitties love the extra snuggles and attention while we are out of town, and the Aupair team has been nothing short of spectacular. It’s priceless having that sort of peace of mind when traveling.

My hubby and I travel a lot, and we don’t have anyone who we can trust to care for our four kitties (at least not anyone who lives close by). Thankfully, there’s PetCare AuPair! We have been using their cat sitting services for about two years now, and we are so happy that we found them.
PCAP is composed of a staff of friendly, real people who really love animals. Each and every visit is carefully documented and they always leave cute comments about how the cats are doing and what they’re up to. Upon request, the staff is even accommodating about sending pictures to keep us updated. We love receiving the pictures while we’re away!
We feel we’ve really built a trusting bond with this company, and we will continue to use their services for years to come. When you’re away from home, you don’t want feel stressed about whether your furry family members are okay… with PCAP, we always feel very assured that the kitties are in good hands, so we can relax and have a good time on vacation. I can’t recommend them enough!

This company was a God-​send!
Over the holidays, I was in need of some one to watch my Lab mix doggie for 10 days. I absolutely did NOT want to put her in a kennel. I wanted to her to be in her own environment (I’m one of those people that view their dogs as part of the family and my husband and I like to refer to her as our «fur-​baby», so yes, we are over protective dog-​parents).
All my friends who normally would have watched her– couldn’t, due to the fact it was over Christmas and New Years– Panicking, I did a quick search on Unilocal and found this place. I saw they have good reviews, so I emailed the owner, Meghan Gilliatt, and she emailed me back right away (um, amazing service!) She was able to answer all my questions and concerns. We set up a free consultation with the manager, Laurie. She came over to our house and right away we knew that the people who work here, love pets! Our dog immediately loved Laurie (after all dogs know right away if some one is a doggie-​lover)
We set up our doggies visits while we were away. While we were gone, the employees sent me text updates with pictures every day! They also fill out a daily visit «report card» so you know everything that went on for each visit. I loved that even though we were far away, our dog was happy in her own home and getting so much love!
This is a fabulous company and they have so many options and services that really cater to your needs. I will be using them again! :D

I have been using PetCare AuPair for several months and I cannot imagine going without them now! I found them on here ( Unilocal), and I use them on a regular basis each week and have used them twice when I have been out of town. Weekly, they are great very timely and my dog LOVES them!
When I was out of town they were AMAZING! My dog got to stay in his normal environment and got extremely well taken care of! I got text updates about him and my home, as well as the peace of mind to know that my dog was in good hands and my house was looked after while I was away.
They leave daily report cards, and make sure I am aware of anything out of the ordinary. They are all very sweet and respectful of my dog and my home. I loved that when I came home from out of town that I did not have to make it to a kennel by a certain time to pick him up and I was very clear on what the cost would be (very reasonable).
I would recommend them to anyone!

PetCare AuPair is the best of the best! I was new to Michigan with a new job and was looking for a service that would walk and play with my puppy. I had a few meetings with other service providers that just did not have the right feel. When I met with PetCare AuPair I knew that this match was right. After using the service for a while, I continued to be even more impressed with the service. All employees were kind, loving and trustworthy and more importantly kept me in the loop if anything seemed off with Wallie during their visit. They document everything that is done during the visit show and are sure to leave fresh water.
I choose not to kennel my dog for various reasons however, I decided to use the overnight service that PetCare Aupair provides. EXCELLENT!!! I was so impressed.

I love my dog! So having a reliable and loving dog walker and pet sitter is really, really important to me. PetCare AuPair is a business run with passion for the well-​being of the animal. That’s why I love and trust them.
When we initially spoke with Kristen about taking care of our dog, she said they come by the house and meet with us in the home. She came by on time and had a packet of information for us. The packet wasn’t just sales or contract information; it was information about what common plants or foods are dangerous to our pets. She answered all our questions about the services and brought up topics we hadn’t even thought of. Her intake forms were thorough and logical. She also took the time to connect with our dog. When she left, we knew our doggy would be well care for.
When they come for a visit they leave a follow-​up form with everything that happened during that visit. They mark down if the dog was anxious, if they picked up your mail, if they fed your dog. It is all very thorough.
Communication is excellent. Schedules are verified and they use emails and text messages to let you know if anything out of the ordinary has taken place.
My dog loves PetCare AuPair and so do I!
