This little hole-in-the-wall coffee shop has all the warmth of delicious coffee, pastries, and delightful service that is comforting especially in a cold hospital. For the super girly foodie in me, this is definitely my go-to spot. The pastries are fresh. They serve one lunch entrée per day(typically a sandwich of deliciously greasy proportions). These options change every day so for the average employee or a frequent visitor to the Princeton hospital, you won’t get tired of this place. Their macadamia nut cookies are soft and delicious. Their lattes are very creamy. If you’re a tough guy that can’t handle this sugar, then this may not be the best fit but your lady might like what you bring back for her. The service is terrific but inconvenient. The cashier is chatty and makes you feel right at home. One time, she gave me pastries she made herself that she wanted customers to try. What’s inconvenient are the hours. I would love to have them open longer and be more consistent. Because they only have one employee working here at a time, if they need to step out to grab more supplies or go to the bathroom(which seems to happen more frequently than what I would’ve thought with my multiple visits), the door is locked and you have to wait. They also close at 1PM so if you’re a late lunch-er, you might miss out on that deliciously greasy ham and cheese sandwich.
