When I first started going a few years ago they were great. The past 6 – 8 month horrible. They are not willing to work with you or if you are a regular they won’t work you in you have to wait several weeks to a month to get in. They take walkins certain times but the last few times they said they met there quota so weren’t taking anymore. I scheduled an appointment this morning at 9:15. 2 weeks ago and I get there this morning and they don’t have me on the schedule and told me I couldn’t get in he was booked up weeks but I needed an appointment to see him. Instead of the supervisor talking to me she d Just sent a message I had to have an appointment. Never will I return and I would recommend you seek out a different doctors office where you actually matter to them.

I would not recommend this doctor. I usually do not like to leave bad reviews but people need warning! Do not go here! Our last experience here was awful! The doctor was determined to send my husband to a particular specialist that wasn’t covered by our insurance! Said that doctor would get my husband taken care of and didn’t write the recommendation letter to anywhere else! Now we have a huge bill to pay.

Alright, so my family has been seeing Mark Ricketts since he was operating out of his patton chapel location. He was great, had a great attitude, and always made sure you felt like you’ve been treated well. Now that he has moved to vestavia city center everything has changed. It feels like an experience you would get at a «Doc in the Box.» First off, you are given a pager when you check in, like you would get at a restaurant waiting on a table. Once it goes off then a «Nurse» checks your weight and blood pressure and asks you questions about your visit. Then, 90% of the time the first person to come in will take you to get X-Rays, usually they are unnecessary. Then they come to draw blood. Dr Ricketts then comes in to the room for a MAXIMUM of one minute and gives you a «Diagnosis» and leaves. He does not listen to your chest, feel your stomach look at your ears, nose, or throat or anything. It is the most Impersonal, quick, in and out, experience i have ever had at a doctors office.
