Sam’s Club

My biggest gripe is their frozen yogurt in the café or whatever the hell you want to call it. It literally is ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ if the damn thing ever works. Also there is no organization when it comes to waiting in line. You got people either in line or not in line and you can’t tell either way. The one in Irondale is worse.

Sam’s Club is an average place to get your basic items for the house. Needed more employees at the pharmacy to help with the rush hour.

This is the best Sam’s Club I’ve been to in Birmingham. It’s cleaner than most Sam’s and the pharmacy is pretty decent. Also, they have a selection of wine that’s not bad. And their take&bake pizzas are fresh and bake well.
Sam’s usually has a decent selection; however, it’s annoying when they run out of lint rollers. And I do wish Sam’s would carry Tidy Cat clumping litter. Fresh Step brand is too dusty, and our cats prefer Tidy Cat.
The mechanic section is the most reliable place we’ve found in Trussville. They offer good pricing for tires. We buy their bulk paper products, which are much cheaper than other stores in the area.

I enjoy the good prices for bulk items, especially on household and certain grocery items.
I can usually find most items cheaper by watching ads and using coupons at my local grocery store.
If you don’t want to wait or spend time using coupons, this is a good place.
Do not expect any services other than a cashier ringing you up. We had to seek out someone TWICE to sell us a membership at the «member services» area.
We purchased a kids outdoor fort. It took a little while to find someone to help «buy» the fort. There was NO tag to take to the register. There were No boxes to purchase. There was only the display. We had to get someone to locate and bring the boxes from the back to the register.
Then once outside, we had to wait 20 minutes before someone was available to help is load the boxes into the truck.
Expect a lot of waiting and take initiative if you need ANY additional services!
