I met the new owners of Seikos through my wife, and they are two of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. Birmingham is blessed to have a tailor with the kind of experience they have I might add. They have designed dresses for some of the top names in the fashion industry throughout the US, and they’re just down the road from us in Hoover. In addition to be so pleasant to work with, you’d be hard pressed to find an alterations shop in the Birmingham area that is more skilled or meticulous in their work than Seikos.

Such a great place with friendly people! A breath of fresh air when you walk in to be greeted with a smile! Even carried my items to my car! Their prices are reasonable-actually almost half of what we were paying for same services.

This little alterations spot is amazing and staffed by the nicest people! They were helpful in getting me fitted and all set for a custom-made dress and for that, I am unbelievably grateful!

Dropped of three pairs of pants a week before Christmas. Was told to pickup on Wednesday the following week. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to make it back before they closed at three that Wednesday.
The Friday after Christmas I visited the shop only to find out they are closing for a week. The jeans I dropped off was a trip to New York for New Years. I End up buying three new pairs for the trip.
No type of notice or sign when I dropped off my clothes that they had to be picked up that day because of the closing. I would have had someone else else pick them up for me.
I explained this to the owner, she was unapologetic and could careless.
