Parking-good Concession stand-hit or miss Bathrooms-HUGE, and generally clean Viewing-lots of spots for good views of the fields. Fields-Consistent. That’s because they are turf. They are SUPER hot in the Spring and Summer, and there are a million little rubber pellets that get in your shoes, and, if you are a player, in your underwear!

I am up and down on this place. For a fan it is great. Big concession stand. Clean bathrooms. Plenty of parking. Nice bleachers. Well lit and beautiful. As a soccer player I hate it. Turf fields. The field radiates so much heat it is dangerous in the summer. The small rubber pellets in the turf get in you clothes and underwear. Also turf is bad on knees. I love watching Birmingham Hammers play here but I sure don’t want to play here myself.

We’ve been here for soccer practice for the kids. They must have invested a bunch of money into this complex, because the mass of artificial turf is impressive. It’s almost directly across the street from Liberty Park on Sicard Hollow Road, so it’s pretty easy to find if you’re used to this area. The parking is conveniently located to the fields and the bathrooms are clean. Good and good.
