Pilates was that odd thing that women did in leotards until six months ago when the Studio owner, Molly Baran, got me to try it. It was a different type of workout and really focuses on the core muscles. Joseph Pilates was a boxer and the reformers (still an odd name for machines) were to rehab athletes. Marleen has been my instructor and the sessions challenge my flexibility and strength. Located in the lower promenade of the 555 Building, it’s two doors North of a spinning facility… a one stop conditioning center. A very nice discovery.”
