Attended a wedding being hosted here. It really was reminiscent of other banquet halls and perhaps the details were lost on me. The setup was quite standard and the décor quite normal for all weddings, considered. The open bar left a lot to be desired since it wasn’t premium/top shelf liquor. That’s okay, it wasn’t my wedding and I didn’t have to pay for my drinks… however, with that said, the drinks left a lot to be desired. The Chardonnay, Blue Moon beer, and Scotch were quite disappointing, so I stuck to ginger ale, which too seemed to lack some ummph in the fizzle department. I must compliment the catering staff as having a superb level of professionalism and overall warm demeanor. I truly enjoyed interacting with them… maybe much more than the guests… did I just say that? :)

Went to a wedding here this weekend. They had the white tent set up on the right side. The chairs were covered in white seat covers and had flowers/ribbon to match the couples theme which was MI State blue and yellow. The building itself has that great echo as you walk through it. Love these old houses! Nice wedding location.

Attended a wedding here… ABSOLUTELY beautiful. Very classy, ample space for atleast 200… great setup. All around, just wonderful. The location is supberb, nestled right in downtown Birmingham. Parking garage about 1 block away for guests… outside reception and drinks before being seated. Elegant, cozy and comfortable with a refined subtlety…
