The people here are so rude I usually drive a few miles south to the UPS store by Orvis because they are so nice.
Not wanting to face Woodward traffic I tried this shop again and again RUDE! The woman behind the counter said she wouldn’t charge me THIS time for taping the top of an Amazon return box, implying next time she sure would. She didn’t even tape the box, just sealed it with the shipping label sticky envelope.
There was a UPS driver loading his truck and he witnessed the exchange. As I passed him in the lot I said «That’s the kind of customer service that makes me want to use FedEx.» He laughed and said «yup.»

This store overcharges and rips people off. DO NOT GO HERE! A friend sent some stuff for me that could have fit easily in one box and they turned it into five boxes and charged over $ 500 for would should have cost under $ 100. When I called to complain, the owner showed no concern or interest in my point of view, despite the fact that I told her I’d taken photographs of all the boxes at various stages of unwrapping to prove my point – she did not want to see them. Go ANYWHERE BUT HERE if you need to mail stuff!

I wasn’t charged to have my package sealed, good luck getting that done at the post office. USPS try to make me buy a roll of tape. UPS ship my package with a smile. I will be using UPS for my future package shipping needs.

I have shipped several hundreds of dollars of packages to NY and other states. Everything always arrived okay until one day a part of a shipment arrived broken. I had purchased insurance and when I called the store asking how to claim it, the owner, Jennifer, was not only not helpful, she was rude and not at all nice. Instead of helping me with my claim, she kept telling me all the reasons my claim might not get paid. I had dealt with her in the past and she was never nice, but I didn’t know she was the owner. Had I known, I would have gone elsewhere, which I will from now on. DON“T go there. There are other places where you will be treated better. When I spend that kind of money for a service, I expect to be treated nicely and for the owner to be helpful.

Super friendly staff go out of their way to make shipping as quick and easy as possible. Great place to have all of your important documents notarized.
They moved here from the downtown Birmingham location. Now there is ample parking just behind the store. Located on the west side of Woodward Ave just north of The Original Pancake House.
