This is a really cool place. High ceilings, cool paintings on the walls, high tables. Very trendy. I think this would be a great place to bring a lady on a date. They have a huge selection of wines, including my favorite, Prisoner. There were two private parties going on when we were there. One was in a room off to the side, the other was in the main area. So it seems like a good place to host an event. They have some food items too but we just sat at the bar and had wine. Despite it being a weekend night, the place was not crowded. There was only one or two other people at the bar. In spite of this, our bartender was not very attentive and was less than friendly. I found this disappointing because I really wanted to chat with her about the place and ask her about what it used to be and what was the deal with having events but I didn’t bother due to her demeanor. So, hence the four stars. I didn’t leave with a great feeling about the place but I would like to go back and give it another try.

The crab cakes were moist with little filler. I recommend the watermelon martini. It is dimly lit with couches, tables, or bar for spacious seating. Service was excellent.

I have been here several times, one of which was for a Christmas party. Always had great service and exquisite drink selection. For a low key chill night, this is a great bar to check out. The last night I was there, it seemed a little empty but it may have just been an off night.

Such a great place to go with friends! Dimly lit tables surrounded by couches. It has the comfort of a friend’s living room but with the class of a high end lounge. They have an amazing wine selection. I recommend the chocolate fondue! Definitely need to try!

I think the Wine Loft is good, but not great. The wine list is amazing(takes up about 6 pages on the menu) but food was pretty ordinary. For the prices of such small portions I won’t be back to eat, but for a glass of wine or a large party, sure. It is a huge restaurant and to me it did not feel cozy and intimate at all. More like dark and bleak… I can see it working out very well for a work party or wedding reception.

I have been frequenting going to the wine loft for years. I like how intimate the setting is and the fact that it’s never too noisy. The wine selection is great and I love the cheese plate! The pizza and lamb lollipops were also delicious. The servers are always friendly, helpful in wine selection and attentive! I highly recommend this place for a date night or when you are considering somewhere«chill» and not too noisy.

Came here as a +1 for a company Christmas party. The atmosphere was great, with plenty of standing and sitting room for the number if people in attendance. They even had a TV going for all of the football fans in the room! As far as food: I preferred the Thai Peanut Chicken Satays over the Teriyaki Filet Satays. The mini quiche and mini crab cakes were also delicious — when they say mini. they mean mini! They trays of various cheese and crackers were also a nice touch with the bottomless glasses of wine :)

I’ve only been here on special occasions — a wedding reception and for my company’s Christmas party. But both times have been great. Plenty of seats. The staff is great and very attentive, both the bartenders and the waiters and waitresses. Plenty of drinking options, both wines and mixed drinks. Their food was actually surprisingly good! I didn’t realize they were the ones who made it until I asked. I would definitely recommend this place to friends.

I only came by here during an event. The wines they offered were good. However, the food was bland and relatively dull for such a trendy place.

This is a cute little place in downtown! It is HUGE. Even though it is on the large size in Space the way they have it laid out so can still have an intimate convo and a quite chill evening. The menu has so much to offer. They have food and drinks. We had some type of flat bread situation that was rather DELISH. It had bacon, peppers and olive oil drizzled on it. I can’t remember the name for the life of me but it was yum! My man had a beer and I ordered a cocktail. It was something with Patron, champagne, and peach purée. It was so so good! Next time I should probably get wine. Because they have so many choices. I waitress was lovely. So quick with everything and a smile the whole time. I would most definitely come back here for a chill night for good drinks and great company.

The Wine Loft has been a favorite of mine for years. I remember going there before the loft boom, and still love going there. The service is always outstanding. Stella and everyone else on staff definitely know what they are doing. The place has great ambiance, and is perfect for a chill, laid back place to relax with friends. Don’t worry if you aren’t a wine fan, because they have a great selection of craft cocktails and beers, and a fully stocked bar!

I’m not a wine drinker. So why would I go here, you may ask? I was invited to a co-worker’s 30th birthday party here. I was very impressed with the ambience. It’s upscale with feeling too bougie, and the prices are reasonable. She had a section of the loft in the back, simply divided by curtains, which did the trick. The other part of the area was open to the public. No one disturbed her party and the array of appetizers were delicious. The 2nd time I visited was with a natural hair group meetup so I saw it was a great place for a laid-back meeting. The 3rd time, my sweetie and I used a discount from either groupon or LivingSocial and ordered food from the menu. We enjoyed our pizza and sat and talked for hours until they got ready to close. He enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. All-in-all, the ambience is what really keeps me coming back. I couldn’t care less about the wine. We need more places like this in the city.

I was very impressed by Wine Loft the first time I visited. I was with a group of girlfriends and we randomly dropped by on a weekend. Although we were unsure of how busy this place would be, we were seated almost immediately in a corner with tea lights and ordered a few bottles of wine and chocolate fondue. The service has always been great every time I have gone. I will say that the wine list is pretty impressive. Because of the ambiance I have had a hard time reading the menu, but good thing most of our smart phones have flashlights. Although i would prefer an environment where the waitress asks your preference for wines and then helps you pick a bottle, sometimes it’s fun to experiment. I haven’t eaten any of the other food at wine loft however I will say that the chocolate fondue is fantastic. The last few times I have gotten it we have had lots of chocolate left over. I would recommend more pound cake or fruit with the pot of fondue just so the chocolate does not go to waste. Beautiful décor and atmosphere though!

Great chill enviornment… bartenders(stella) make great drinks(epecially if you are like me and do not drink wine) and the food is actually really good. Great place to go to meet up with friends, sit on the patio and talk.

The place has a throwback glam feel. Made me wish I had on a stunning dress and stilettos. I was sorry we had eaten dinner before coming to the Wine Loft because something smelled divine. Our party decided we should come back for food and wine pairings. The Chianti recommended by the bartender was fabulous. The manager took time to talk to us about the wines and specials offered. We will definitely be back, and I will definitely throw on a stunning dress & perhaps some stilettos.

I’ll admit I don’t know a thing about wine. All those flavors mingling about in your mouth… i couldn’t tell you what they are to save my life. All I know is if it tastes pretty good, I’ll drink it. My mother and I went the Wine Loft Saturday night as part of a mother-daughter night out. It was after 10 and the place wasn’t very busy. We were seated in one of the lovely couch areas. If you want to feel fancy, this is the place to do it. Our server gal was so soft spoken it was very difficult to communicate. I told her what I knew I DIDN’T like in a wine and welcomed her suggestions. However, her first one was something completely different from what I’d just told her. It was incredibly sweet. The second she suggested was very very I-can’t-drink-this-without-making-an-ew-face. Thirdly she said I know you’ll like Zinfandel but I tried to tell her no no Malbec, Pinot, Merlot… something like that. She came back saying they were out of the Z but here’s a full glass of this. «you’re out of samples but I’m sure you’ll like this.» Well, I didn’t. I was stuck with a $ 9 glass of wine I didn’t care for and wouldn’t have chosen on my own. Next time, I’ll just fend for myself! If you don’t know about wine, be careful! Best to go with someone who does. They were playing indie music like Neko Case and MGMT. It was extremely loud thanks to a party of annoying screaming women. BUT I would go back and try again. It’s a nice place.

I came here for my birthday and the layout is gorgeous. On the outside, it looks like an abandoned little patio restaurant lot in a slightly sketchy area but the moment you go inside, you’re transported to the world of classy. Each table and booth area is separated by an impossibly tall veil and the lights that glimmer against it set the scene. The interior has the lounge feel with low tables and fun seats that connect everyone in your party immediately. The apple turnover was delicious but be careful eating here – it only gets awkward because of the table height. I had a lovely time here. Sure the menu was hard to read because of the dim lights. Even our waitress had to move our menu around to read it. The only down side is that you only get two wine tastes which seems too little especially with the name of the place being Wine Loft.
