I’ve gone to a number of Walgreens over the years, and my experiences have been overwhelmingly good, but my experiences at this location have by far been the worst. I had two prescriptions sent here and when I got there they only had one. I understand you don’t stock everything but they said I would get an email when the other came in. I never got the email. So I finally went back about a week and a half later-ish and the prescription had been delivered… and then returned. So I reordered it again. This time I did receive the text they signed me up for but it took several days for it to come ‘back.’ I have never gotten the warm and fuzzies from their staff and I’ve been approached by panhandlers in their parking lot twice. And unless you’re turning right(out of either their Greensprings or Valley Ave) exits, you’re risking your life. A bad experience all around. I’m not going back unless it is an emergency.

This Walgreens has the worst employees and is just about the most disorganized place ever. It’s unfortunately in very close proximity to my house so most of my business is more because it’s close by and the fact that it is 24⁄7.

Okay all. As some of you know from my posts I am a big fan of Walgreens. However, this morning I was quite disappointed in the customer service from this particular location. After picking up a few items we proceeded to the checkout. There was no one in line and we stood there looking for someone to acknowledge us. We seen two employees, one of which was actually working and another who looked like he was hiding in the photo section. We finally heard the guy hiding in the photo section say he would be there in a minute. We waited and waited and waited. My boyfriend was getting pretty agitated and was ready to leave the items on the counter and go to the Walgreens at Valley & Richard Arrington, when the guy finally decided to move SLOWLY to the checkout counter. He barely acknowledged us as he checked us out and in my personal opinion acted like he didn’t want to be bothered by doing his job. This is very disappointing considering Walgreens usual outstanding customer service. This has been the second time at this particular location that the employees have made us feel like this. Not good Walgreens. We are good customers and promote your store due to the rewards you provide with various activity devices. I hope if you see this post and have any questions, you will contact us.

For starters there are actually two Walgreens stores in this street. One on the corner of Greenspings & Valley ave and the 2nd is on the corner of Valley ave and Richard Arrington jr blvd. as opposed to the 2nd location this store is minutely inferior, however Walgreens is my pharmacy of choice. Why? The deals and wonderful rewards program. This program is easy to understand and very customer friendly. As a runner I can appreciate that my fitbit sync’s into this program allowing me to earn rewards while away from the store. This is a great incentive to shop at Walgreens and live a healthy lifestyle. The only con of this store is that it’s located on a very busy intersection. Be safe everyone.
