No parking, but the hot lemon pepper wings are worth the walk depending on how much lunch time you have.

I was considering coming here tonight but I had second thoughts after I read one of the reviews that was posted and it was very helpful. The person wrote in the review about how bad the owner was he gave himself a big tip and didn’t tell anyone and that’s just wrong. The other thing I noticed is that they have no prices posted on their menu and I didn’t want to drive here and the place was expensive. I usually don’t read other people’s reviews on a place because everybody’s experience is different but after i read this particular review I changed my mind about coming here

A bunch of nurses and pct’s ordered wings from this place, the Birmingham location. The wings looked NOTHING like these pictures. These wings were tiny, there was barely any meat on the bone at all, absolutely the worst wings I’ve ever had. I was unsure they came from a large bird like a chicken. They were so tiny, seemed like they came from someone’s pet parakeet. When they delivered our order, the delivery guy who was the owner, Jeff, refused to deliver them to our unit, saying he had bad knees, and made us each come down one by one to his car outside to pay for our order. They purposely do not list the prices of their wings on their website. I think they just make up the prices as they go. To top off this terrible service and piddly wings, he gave himself a fat tip, a gratuity of a whopping 18% without telling any of us. Even after he specifically told us since he wasn’t delivering them up to our floor there would be no extra charge. I was SHOCKED when I looked at my receipt to see he charged us 18% gratuity tip without even telling any of us. A tip is a VOLUNTARY contribution that the buyer makes, and WE decide how much to give. This is fraud, and credit card fraud as well. I have filed a report with the police department, as well as a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). He just decided to give himself a fat tip of 18% without telling any of us and thought he could get away with it. When I called the next to day to complain, the owner, Jeff, tried to play innocent and dumb, saying that the tip was actually a delivery fee. I reminded him that he told us there would be no fee since he wouldn’t even deliver them to our unit and just sat in his car, and I argued with him that a gratuity is a TIP that the buyer decides, not you the owner. He tried to act like this was new news to him and he didn’t understand what a tip was. He did not offer to give us all back the 18% tip he gave himself. He did not offer to give us an order of REAL chicken wings, not that I would have accepted. He offered nothing, not even an apology, he just tried to play dumb. But I think he knows full well what he is doing. He did NOT try to make things right. I cannot recommend this place at all. I would give it ZERO stars, not even one star. I had to change my credit card number because I couldn’t trust what other sleazy things they might do with my credit card.

Pretty decent eat in/​carry out wing spot near UAB campus. The wings are a tad on the small side and are sitting in a pool of sauce, but there is a large selection of flavors and they are quite tasty. Plan on paying for it though. $ 20.00 for 20 wings.

My first impression was met with my shoes sticking to the floor as walked in making a squeaky sound with each step. Somebody please mop the floor; which leads me to ponder what other areas are lacking attention as well. I ordered cold lemon pepper and orange buffalo. Neither left a tasteful lasting impression. Both were soggy and lacked any crispness. Also, got an order of Cajun Ranch fries however they disappointed me as well because of some weird tangy taste. Too many other great place for wings (wing it, wings plus more, saw’s, moe’s, slice, rouge tavern, etc…) to accept mediocrity. Needless, to say I will not be going there again.

Food was amazing but there are a few issues I had with the place. Floors were sticky, like they had not been cleaned for some time. The drink selection was minimal. Then a guy walks in, I was told he was the owner, and decided to take a large order to go, which bumped our order, so our fried were done before the wings. The price was a bit on the high side, but I do not mind paying if it was cleaner and maybe the owner put the customers before his wants.

I work downtown and I drive by this place every day. I was skeptical about this place, but I decided to give it a shot. Probably one of my best decisions ever!!! The wings are amazing!!! It’s always freshly made, piping hot, and seasoned to your liking. However, it’s without a doubt that their Lemon Pepper wings are the best here!!! Service is reasonably fast and good, but you come for the wings, period! Best expecting to pay around $ 10 for a meal. Probably best wing in town!!!

Meh. The wings aren’t bad, but I prefer crispier wings. The sauces had good flavor (I tried two different ones), but there was a little too much sauce on them (since I like crispy wings, I don’t like a lot of sauce because it makes them too «wet»).
The staff was very nice. Parking is limited, but that’s to be expected downtown.

Had the vampire stopper and hot blizzard wings. Very different and very good. Cooked well. Not slimy, not burnt. Get the fries with ranch and Cajun. So good! Would have gave 5 stars, but no beer! Come on! It’s wings!

The wings are great, but the service is the worst you’ll ever get. I called in a Togo order after I got off work. The owner answered, and put me on hold. I was able to drive all the way to store, walk in, shower the owner my phone an how long he’d kept me waiting
FOR A TOGO ORDER. He apologized, and then charged me the full price for my meal. The only reason I paid him was because I hadn’t eaten all day. Last time I give the worst establishment in birmingham a dime.

Great wings, super friendly service.
We hit up Wings Around The Clock before a UAB basketball game. We were immediately greeted by a chatty older gentleman behind the counter who made us feel right at home. While the service isn’t fast, the wings were hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked. There are dozens of flavor combinations that range from mild to fairly spicy and it’s worth the wait.
They have strawberry Fanta. Need I say more? This is the mecca of fried chicken wing goodness. We’ll be heading back soon.

I love this place for when I want some delicious wings fast. This has been my second visit and they were just as good as I remembered. However, I feel that the service could be friendlier. I know they are used to a lot of take out orders, but sometimes you just want to sit down and relax! A welcoming atmosphere would be a huge plus! My favorites are the Lemon Pepper and the Jamaican Jerk! Overall, it is really decent and several blocks from lab so I can work off the wings on the way back to work! Try it and tell me what you think!

For a counter service restaurant, there wasn’t much more to ask for. Fast service, above average wings, and fair prices. Owner was going table to table chatting with guests. I’d recommend it.

First time impression is the floors are greasy. They’re a little expensive. I ordered lemon pepper wings (which are one of my favorite favor) and fries. They were very good had a good lemon pepper favor and were dry. Which is how I like mine. They have plenty of different kinds of favors to choose from. I would eat there again.

They have plenty of flavors to choose from. You can choose from fried hard or soft and fries are crispy.

Wow! They got my order a little wrong; they accidentally added a piece of fish. This turned out to be a good thing because it showed me that they have good fish too. Contemplating heading back over there later.
And its ALL FRESH! any restaurant that serves fresh food and friendly service, gets my business all the time.

Good wings, great flavor options. Maybe a little more expensive than most wing joints but not to the point of being absurd.
