On a side note before I review Comfort Zone, Unilocal… why in the world do you allow me to sign in thru the browser on my phone only to force me to install your app to give a review? 3 stars out of the gate on you. Anyway, with that aside… I’ve been going to Comfort Zone for about 5 years now. I started going there when I was working in the Galleria Towers. All in all its a good place for a relaxing massage but they can get too much pressure going on at times. You sometimes have to tell them to dial it back. Their prices are probably a lot better than some fancy shmancy spa place and I have no experience at one of those places. What prompted my review is the one I received yesterday, where the chin padding was lacking on one of their tables. I told them about this after the session and he saw there was a problem and fixed it but offered no discount b/c of it. So you’re best to notify immediately if something is a bit uncomfortable. I generally try to tough these things out but the chin is still a little sore. I also agree with the chatter. They actually keep cell phones on them to get the other workers to come running down from out on the floor when they get busy in the store front. But yeah they do carry on conversations at times and then having to either answer their Trac phones or talking at all during the session, is distracting. I’m seriously thinking of learning some Mandarin to see wth they’re saying. But overall, I do like the place. They’ve overall have always been friendly.

Only acupressure massages. Not real massages. Sometimes you get great one other times someone not as attentive. I have swapped to professional massages like massage envy!

Decent experience considering it’s a chair or table massage in a mall. When you first walk up, I got the car salesmen vibe… «Buy something or keep it moving» without even so much as a hello… Happy 4th or anything lol. Anyway, we elected to get 20 minute table massages. We were walked to the back of the dim lit room and asked to remove shoes and place belongings in pockets into a basket. This was all done and well. So you remain fully clothed of course, unlike a traditional massage session. They place a thin blanket/towel/sheet over you and do the massaging thru that… Which actually works well. Initially, there was a lot of laughter and chatter between the employees. Even a few times experienced my therapist pausing to hear and then laugh at something somebody else was saying. Very distracting way to begin. But once they focused and turned on some relaxing music, the experience was actually pretty good. Once complete of course they tried to upsell, but after paying we were given bottles of water and sent on our way. Unique experience that easily could’ve been better with some tighter customer service, overall decent!

I took my kids to the Riverchase Galleria this past Saturday night for their birthday. As usual, I got abandoned once I handed over the cash to them. So, all alone, I meandered my way along the upper deck, people watching and such… when I came upon two asian men massaging this couple. I stopped dead in my tracks, and grabbed the paper showing the prices. I told him I wanted the 22 minute one for $ 20. Once seated on the special chair which puts all your weight on your lower legs and knees, and my face down in the cusioned hole… the man went to work. I was quickly and gloriously whisked away to a mountian top somewhere in Tibet. The air there was cold, clean and crisp and I tried to reach down and touch the snow, but I couldn’t feel it… like I was in the Startrek hologram room or something. The 20 minutes went by way too fast and when I raised my head I was dizzy from this magical experience. Now, I feel like I can mark off the«witness something truly magestic» from my bucket list. All I can say is … «GOHERE».
