I hired Derek to pack and move my house in Mammoth, which was up for sale. I had relocated from LA to the Olympic Peninsula in Washington, and this was a second home I was selling. After several other moving/​packing companies flaked on me, Derek came through and I couldn’t have picked a better, more reliable and trustworthy company. No major movers served the area, and in any case, I had heard horror stories about them. He was efficient and reasonable. I would not recommend any other company in the area. He had to pack very valuable antiques and antique art — a LOT. Everything arrived in good order. He was a pleasure to deal with, and I count him as a friend for life. He went above and beyond, even making a second trip up with items that were inadvertently left behind, and stayed to help me hang paintings, as I hadn’t found a qualified person to help with that task. After the first load had been delivered, he went back to the now empty house and cleaned the beige carpets, which helped tremendously in selling the house. Yes, he also has a carpet cleaning business. He works hard and produces great results in all he touches, and he is fun, funny, and easy on the eyes, lol. You couldn’t ask for more. Hire him without a second thought.
