Rusty’s is the best and Aubrey is the greatest bartender ever. We live in San Diego and we were headed back home after skiing for a week in Tahoe. Aubrey entertained us a kept us from going thirsty she is certainly good at that and an awesome person. Best time we ever had. We will be back.

Great little dive bar on the main strip of Bishop. The bartender was super sweet and they have decent beers on tap! It had a jukebox that was pretty cheap to play. Will definitely hit up Rusty’s again when I come through Bishop on my way up to Mammoth.

I went up for a geography class from LA and if not for this place I would have gone crazy. Excellent strong drinks and very friendly mountain folk especially to a city guy.

Now here’s a bar! Great tunes awesome bartenders and just fun people. Very clean bathrooms are even clean, security is on the spot and the bartenders aren’t afraid to make a drink. The juke box rocks and you can buy credits on your phone with an app. Their live music selection is varied and welcomed. I highly recommend this bar to anyone.

If you plan to go for a night out in Bishop, this is THE place! The jelly’s are ok but they have a nice variety of beers. The last time I went there ended up pissing from the roof to the street(literally)

Such a nice bar now, daytime is always fun it’s quiet there is drink specials and even though I’m in my 20s you take a step back into old country movie bar scenes with the decorations and old timers who visit. It’s a neat place.

So, walking around Bishop, was looking for a local bar to have a drink. Rusty’s was what expected in a small town. A great mix of locals and some out of towners, perhaps some out of towners may think twice before entering, but I’m always up for an adventure. Went in with a friend, sat at the bar, and immediately attended to. The staff was very friendly, even talked about one of the drinks were one of her favs, and made sure that we were attended to. Even chatted with other staff and they were very friendly. When we left, they thanked us for coming. If you are in Bishop, need a drink, play some pool, or a friendly place to hang out, Rusty’s is great! Thank you Rusty’s for making a couple of visitors very welcome!

Whenever we stay in Bishop, we always have a couple of beers at Rusty’s. It is just the sort of you would expect to find here: a dive bar with an attitude. Locals and tourists mingle peacefully. There’s pool, Foosball, and darts, and of course, Saturday night Karaōke. Loud Karaōke. Who knew the talent pool was so deep in Bishop?

Been coming to Bishop forever, we always stop at Rustys. Total local hang out but always a few tourists coming in to check it out. Every time I’m here there is always a cast of characters, that’s what makes it fun for us. Total hillbilly dive bar with a great selection of tap beers and full bar. It is a must stop if you want the true fill of Bishop.

Came in this bar to enjoy a beer after a long drive b4 returning to my hotel for the night. If your not a local to this very small red-neck town Id stay clear of this dive. I noticed that the locals in this dive got beers @ a discounted price & I was charged full price. 5.25 for a beer in a dive is too high of a price. I went across the street & beers were 3 $ & much nicer bartenders… so whoever the overweight blond bartender is get a clue. Cheers

Have been coming to Bishop for years but always go to McMurrays across the street. I had to come down the mountain to work for a couple hours(those assholes ate into my fishing time!!) and so after making 3 sales decided to pop in for one. Bartender was really friendly(Aubrey I think her name was) and as we’re looking to move to Bishop she gave me some tips about the town and people. Drink was $ 4.25 for a vodka/7

We have been coming up to Bishop for over 35 years and we always stop into Rusty’s Bar n some of the other local hang outs. We said that when we retired that Bishop would be place to retire in n call home. Love the town, the fishing, the people. So we are retired now n looking for places to call home in bishop. Cant wait to become locals here in bishop… Rusty’s Bar is one of our favorites n we are sure going to be regulars there«NODOUBT». lol lol

Its a clamper bar… And a locals bar. If you can get past that and the divey bar feel its great. Unless thats what your into which i am than your home! The waitresses were great. The beer selection on tap could be better but I’m a beer snob. I’ll come here again and again

Perfect dive bar with pool tables, shuffle board, cold beers and lots of locals. My favorite bar in Bishop. The bowling alley is also a great stop for a beer or good lunch.

I have been to Rusty’s a few times and every time I’m there they have added something new, they are offering new drink specials or there are new changes coming. It’s pretty nice to see a bar that puts the effort into keeping it fresh for locals and fun for passers through. Had a different bartender every time I go and they all seem pretty friendly, and are more than happy to give info on the good spots to eat around town. I like this place so much that I have actually never even bothered to go to any other places in town! And although Rusty’s doesn’t immediately come across as a sports bar to me, they have tons of tv’s and lots of sports time specials. Definitely a good place to stop by for a drink. *They have cool t-shirts for sale too!

Just ducked in for a quick drink while going through Bishop. Neither my friend or I had ever been here but we liked the Rustyc(haha) look of the place, outside and in. They’re in the midst of an expansion and remodel and it’s quite roomy inside, with pool tables, foosball table, darts and a life-sized Captain Morgan statue! In the front older part of the bar you’ll see deer heads galore on the walls as well as a giant hornet’s nest(empty, presumably) hanging over the bar! Reasonable drink prices and friendly bartender and locals made for a pleasant stop. Apparently their«Redneck Nites» on Saturdays are quite popular. If you’re in the mood for a casual relaxed bar, Rusty’s fits the bill.

This bar has a full liquor license, which can be hard to find in Bishop. The bar is a total dive and the regular crowd tends to be older cowboys and what not, but don’t be intimidated. They are a friendly bunch. The bartenders are really nice and will try their best to make any drink you want. We got some Irish car bombs, which came from canned Guinness poured into a plastic cup with the Baileys and Jameson in a huge shot glass on the side. Not ideal, but they tried! Their margaritas are pretty good. The bartenders aim to please. The staff starts handing out wristbands around 9pm. Not sure why. There are two pool tables and a dart board. Apparently, from 4−6pm they offer $ 1.75 Rolling Rock drafts and free pool and darts. The best part about Rusty’s — unexpected free wifi! Not sure if it was intentional but I’ll take it!
