Spectacular!
Virgil’s is amazingly clean and organized. Cori is professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. She knows her product, and, she has it in stock.
Cori found an automotive paint color that no other store could find. Cori whipped up a very-​reasonably-​priced batch in a few minutes.
Cori has a product to clean windshield mineral spots that no other store could clean.
«I need something (specially-​prepped).» Cori knew the only person in the area who does it, and, she has their business card.
Before you go, make a list of things that need painting, cleaning, or prepping. Cori probably has the solution.

I stopped by Ace Hardware looking for 1000+ grit sandpaper for a furniture refinishing project. They didn’t have anything greater than 600 so they sent me over to Virgil’s. It’s on Barlow (835 N to be exact; address update submitted), off the main drag, but wasn’t too hard to find. The owner, Cori, was incredibly helpful and steered me in the right direction without being pushy. Prices are competitive with those online (even a bit cheaper).
Note that they are closed for lunch/​deliveries daily between noon and 1:30.
