So much like Washington State used to be, North Dakota only sells liquor at actual liquor-licensed stores. Enter Captain Jack’s Liquor Land. This place is pretty amazing. First of all, when you walk inside, it’s like walking into a cave. The place is completely shielded from the outside light. The selection of spirits is pretty impressive. I could probably spend an entire day in here. Plus, they carry all sorts of alcohol-related accessories(bottle openers, cigarettes, party favors, etc.) plus snacks. Prices are pretty decent(but obviously can’t beat Trader Joe’s, which doesn’t exist in North Dakota).

Brand new and fully stocked. Granted there are a few labels I would love to see but I can’t find them at any of the other local stores so I’m not too worried about. Friendly people and LOTS of suggestions.

Everyone’s favorite liquor store in town. You’d be a fool not to go here. Pretty building, too
