MY husband and I went to Country Charm 12 years ago when they first started the B&B. Although they just started this, we have been both pros on B&B’s before. We guided them in to be themselves. That’s all they can be. Mari and Jerry also became good friends of ours. We stayed many times after that, and plan to come back in 2015, after our long journey home from Colorado driving cross country, or at least half country. I really enjoyed then their dog Ozark who is no longer with them but I hear from her on facebook with the new dog, the long haired red dog, sorry I can not recall the name of their dogs. But then they had the Honey Bees, the Ducks, the Egg Farm where all their eggs were freshly done with the hen house. The lake inspired me and for all these years this place has inspired me. Mari got into scrapbooking years ago and turned me onto this, soon I was scrapbooking too. To keep a book of Memories Alive, which I did. and I am Happy I did this, since the passing of two of my parents, I kept their memory alive by Mari’s thoughts of this. I highly recommend this place. they are the nicest people around. While we were here there was a newly married couple came to this place they were the first couple to try out the first cabin, that Jerry built. we made Margaritas that night and had a very nice time. Mari even made us Dinner with them, its not like going to a strangers house it feels like I have gone over to see my sister! The cordiality of these two people are far to find good friends, friendly faces and happy new and old memories. I think you will not be disappointed in this place. The serenity if you are looking for it, its here. I love this place. Now that I am a writer I find this place, a place that I would love to get my stories pulled out of. Thank you Mari and Jerry for you lovely place. If I had not been here, I knew I would have missed a wonderful friendship with you all and also a very serene quiet place to think, listen to nature and a place to view the stars at night. We love you both, Linda and James

This experience was amazing! My bf and I stayed in the couples cabin and loved it. It’s small, but really perfect for two people. I would say you definitely need to bring some cooking supplies like oil and spices but everything else is there(pots and pans). The hot tub, outdoor shower, and jacuzzi are all on great condition. We will definitely be back!

The little cabin we stayed in was finished out very nicely. We were in «The Couples» cabin. As of this writing it’s the cabin in the pictures shown on this page. The cabins on the grounds were far enough apart to offer privacy for the occupants. They have about 40 acres of land overall. We met the gentleman that takes care of the grounds and he was very nice. He took time to speak with us about the different cabins and the plans they had for the future. You are free to roam anywhere inside the fenced property. The pond on the grounds was mostly dry when we were there. Overall, our experience was great. Unlike others I would have preferred to be a little closer to Hot Springs, but that is purely a personal preference. YMMV.

I can’t rave enough about this place! Cutesy log cabins with all the amenties you could want, including wifi, 2 person jet tubs, mounted flat screens, full kitchen, etc! About 15 miles away from downtown hot springs, but totally worth the drive! I will never stay in the city again when I can have a paradise like this only a short step away! So peaceful and relaxing, the family cat and new puppy greeted us as we walked up to the front lodge for check in. The owner charmed us with homemade muffins, and showed us to our cabin. They have cut walking trails in the woods, and each cabin has fire pit and bbq out back with we enjoyed as the sun set and the starlight shone through the trees. The owners told us they will be converting the main house into a venue hall, what a beautiful place for a wedding!
