Fantastic Indian tacos! The burgers were great too. Plus they have pie! Homemade pie. The banana cream was wonderful.

Great food, prices, and service! We just moved to the area a month ago and have already been several times. We will keep going back.

We visited this little gem for the first time today at lunch after living here almost 3 years. To say the least, I wish we would’ve discovered it sooner! It was absolutely delicious! I ordered the steak fingers (beef bites) — only $ 7.99 for lots of steak, mashed potatoes, fried okra, bread, and your choice of soup or salad! It was all so, so good! We also had a jalapeño burger, onion rings and chicken strips… none of which disappointed. As we paid, we spoke with the cook and owner and he told us that he tries to make everything he can from scratch which was evident in the taste of the food. The steak fingers are the only ones I’ve ever had that are comparable to my mom’s homemade. So good!!! We can’t wait to go back soon!

This place definitely ranks in my Top 3 places in the Tulsa. This hidden gem is tucked away in the middle of downtown Bixby. When I was interning at Central States Orthopedics, patients would constantly recommend coming to this place. My clinical instructor and I decided to give this place a shot. We came in with very high expectations, and did not leave disappointed.
My CI got a jumbo jalapeño burger and I got the catfish basket. Patients would tell me that this place has the best catfish they’ve ever had, and I’ll agree with them on that. The fish was crunchy on the outside (like all places do), but still very moist and tender on the inside (unlike most places with fried catfish). The basket comes with hushpuppies, cole slaw, and their legendary fries. Man oh man, these fries are something else. My CI stated the burger was the best he’s had in Bixby (even better than Sam’s and Scott’s).
As we told the front desk we would be leaving for lunch at Stepping Stone, and a patient told us to get the chocolate cake if they had it that day. What I liked about the dessert menu is that there was none; dessert varies each day based on what the family decides to make. We had the chocolate cake, which included homemade frosting. Easily some of the bust cake I’ve ever had. After that, I was done… stuffed to the max. This place does everything right.
After the table behind us found out it was our first time here, they proceeded to inform us that everything, literally everything, is homemade here. The family all takes different roles in the restaurant. I’m told everything is made by hand, from the burger patties and onion rings, to the cake batter and frosting. And you can tell… this stuff is delicious and not fake in the least bit.
If you’re looking for a down-​home experience, look no further.
PS, I forgot to mention that I saw nothing on the menu was over $ 8. Best bang for your buck at this place.

Great service. Great food! Then owner George provides a quality meal at a fair price. Just moved to Bixby from Jenks. We love the small town feel and the friendly locals who are regulars at Johnson’s.

Came here for dinner one evening. I had hamburger steak and the man had chicken fried chicken. Everything was portioned just right, tasted good and wasn’t greasy. The prices are good too. Typical small town diner.

In Bixby on 5÷4÷14 for baseball tournament at Bentley complex. They happily seated us when it was almost closing time. Quality home cooked meals. Cut their own meats hand batter their onion rings, homemade rolls, dinners and soups. Salads are small but soups good value. Went back next day for outstanding burger. Prices very reasonable.

It’s good… give it a shot. We need more little local places like this in Bixby. Glad they are here for a quick bite or something to grab on the way home. I’ve only had their burgers and they are great!

Great little café with a pleasant atmosphere. Fun for families and the wait staff is friendly and efficient. Whistler.

Decent portions for the price. Very large drinks. Service 7/​10, food quality 8/​10, prices $$. AYCE Catfish Thursdays and closed on Mondays.
