Wish I could give zero stars. This was slop — better fed to pigs. Long buffet line with endless empty chafing dishes. Nothing wiped down so very sloppy. Very limited choices. Just disgusting…

Went and took advantage of the champagne Brunch which starts at 11:00 on weekends. We enjoyed it and definitely got our fill and money’s worth. Prices I do believe are $ 18.95 per person but if you are hungry it’s worth it. Nice overall selection including breakfast favorites.

The crab legs are phenomenal! Also the roast beef is surprisingly juicy and flavorful. Definitely a great value and we will be back again!

This is a great food option in Black Hawk if you are vegetarian or picky. We checked out a couple other restaurants in town and there was a heavy emphasis on meat at all of them. One hostess told me «We have a salad bar!» As if that’s a suitable meal for a vegetarian. No. Anyway. This buffet is pretty good and reasonably priced. For lunch, with tax, it’s about $ 12.50. When you consider that includes a drink and dessert it’s certainly a good value. The food was good, too. I don’t do buffets in real life but when you’re in a place like Black Hawk… I enjoyed everything I tried and appreciated the many vegetarian items they offered. The carrot cake was delicious, too.

I come for the crab legs and destroy the buffet. Delicious and great deal for all you can eat crab legs.

This is a hidden little gem for breakfast! It’s the only buffet open for breakfast during the week and they are always spot on! We stay at Ameriastar but we eat here. $ 7 bucks for breakfast, always quality food and always great selection.

Not bad for a casino buffet. Did someone say crab legs? The selection of food isn’t massive, I’d say they have more desserts then anything. They have a carving station and a grilling station. The restaurant is pretty small and must be 21 and up to even dine here.

It’s only $ 9.99 for a dinner buffet which includes crab legs. Everything is decent but it’s a smaller buffet with limited options. I wish they had a ramen or phở station… more soups than chicken noodle.

I got a chance to check out the Seasons Buffet for the first time this evening, thanks to a coupon I had for a free visit. I’ll be honest in saying that the buffets in Black Hawk aren’t nearly as large or of high quality as those in Reno and Las Vegas, but gotta admit, it was really good. A bit on the smaller side, really laid back, and a pretty good selection of dishes were available. Excellent pulled pork. At first I thought it was a bit odd that the carving station only had ham and roast beef, but I also didn’t know there was also a separate grilling station that had more selections available. It appeared that those items were brought to the tableside by the chefs after they were ordered. Huge variety of desserts. There appeared to be a few regulars that knew the staff well. Definitely recommend. It’s about on par with Calypso’s at The Isle.

Steady downhill decent. I’ve eaten here numerous times in 10+ years and thought it to be one of the better buffets in Black Hawk. It’s been a little while since I have been there, but the last couple of times the quality and selection has gone downhill. The meats have been tough and obviously of lesser quality. Many of the other items seem to have gone from what tasted like freshly prepared to what now tastes more TV dinnerish. The whole buffet seems to be getting a little«stale» and maybe it’s time to get a head chef with fresh ideas who will taste what they’re serving. It needs a total overhaul. Time to do something different.

The king crab legs are the same size as snow. They cut them in half but they are dry and cold. Only one person can serve themselves at once.

Excellent! Ate brunch last Sunday, Oct. 2013, and the Fri. Night seafood buffet last night. Lots of choices, omelets made to order, eggs benedict and so much more. Make sure you are there well ahead of closing time for breakfast since it closes at 10:30 am sharp then closes for brunch at 11. Excellent mashed potatoes, turkey, gravy, scallops, grilled sirloin, cheesecake and so much more! Highly recommend! Our favorite in Black Hawk!

What a huge disappointment. All the glowing reviews on here had me fully convinced that this was the best buffet in Black Hawk. So of course, my boyfriend and I came here when we hit the casinos last night. It was easily one of the worst meals we’ve ever had. The sides(mashed potatoes, stuffing, etc.) were cafeteria-quality. They were just nasty. The meat(roast beef, chicken, ribs, etc.) was tough and just not good. I had some crab legs, and they were gross, gross, gross. The meat inside was brown and racid; obviously they were grossly overcooked and left out all night. It’s a miracle I didn’t get sick from them! Even the dessert was below par. I didn’t try everything, but what I had wasn’t that great. The crème brûlée was totally off(it tasted like pudding) and my cheesecake had a rancid flavor. Everything just tasted so fake(like they used powder mixes instead of real ingredients). I was sorely disappointed. I wish we ate at Ameristar’s buffet instead. Oh well.

The best buffet outside of Vegas! Never been to a buffet in Blackhawk, and took a chance when I heard there was all you can eat prime rib and a chocolate fountain! The tastiest salads, by far the BEST crispy pork in the Chinese section ever. I was so impressed with the variety, from couscous to Waldorf salad, awesome mozzarella in pesto with tomatoes. This was a high class restaurant quality menu. Even the waiter brought me different varieties if tea. I am still in la la land over the white AND dark chocolate fountain, and scrumptious chocolate dipped crème puffs. A+ all the way!

A guy at Lady Luck suggested we try this place so we did. Pretty good selection all around from Chinese to cheeseburgers. I liked that everything was fairly fresh, under the watchful eyes of many servers and cooks behind the bars. I ate my fair share and enjoyed the grill station for a quick to order selection. I’d eat here again in heartbeat.

Probably the best buffet in town in the sense it’s a fairly standard price and the selection is pretty good(rotating daily). Sundays are good for the brunch and you’ll get free champagne — all you want. The only thing that keeps me from going to five stars is the quality of meat used at the grill station. My steak has always been tough, so I’ve given up on that. The grill does make veggie burgers, for those who care. But they cook it on the same grill as the steaks and chicken. Kind of defeats the purpose. Still, worth a visit. Especially if you play poker. There’s a morning tourney and the breakfast is pretty good.

Alright, so I want to give this a 2.5 stars. This was seriously a good deal if you don’t mind bland food and slow service($ 5.99). I am reviewing the breakfast buffet here(not the Sunday brunch). I also have Celiac disease so this is a gluten free review(I would be seriously cautious or not eat here for GF). They were uncertain of what gluten was, but seemed to know what had wheat it it, so I was a little non-trusting. I ate pretty safe options, like fruit(the pineapple was good), eggs and hash browns. With a little salt and pepper, not bad. The service was pretty bad, we got our coffee and juice when we came and then had to go ask for more coffee. I’m not sure if we will come back here or not…
