Unfortunately, as soon as you walk into this place, you’re being sold by young high school kids who want commission, and who will apparently flat out lie to your face about your «membership» and what you’re signing up for. If you wish to tan here, ignore the «can I get this signature on the electronic pad» and ASK for forms (even though they’ll say this is only an electronic signature to access your credit card on file — - lie) because they’re trying to trip you up and charge you additional fees. A lot of businesses pull these kind of scams, so just be aware!

This place hasn’t been reviewed yet so I figured I’d be the first. I got my tan membership here as soon as it opened (maybe February?) and had it until May (when I graduated). Although I only tanned here for a few months it was easily the best tanning salon in Blacksburg. The tanning salon in the empo is cheaper and closer to my apartment at the time but it’s SO worth it to go the extra few miles for this place (and they’re open late so that’s a plus). Their beds were always really clean and the customer service was always great. I signed up with a friend and we were given a tour and talked to about all of the beds and products but there was no real pressure in buying them. I never had a problem coming here and only rarely had to wait (which was never more than a few minutes). The only problem I had (when I tanned almost everyday for 4 months) was that one time one of the beds wouldn’t turn on after I was assigned to it. I had to change and get into another bed which wasn’t a big deal at all but they apologized and gave me credit for a free upgraded bed which was amazinggggggg. I know that the place was new so that the beds were newer than other places but they explained to me their cleaning process and their beds didn’t freak me out like the place at the empo, I really did feel like they were clean (or at least cleaner than the average). I would definitely recommend going here and I know that we’re all poor college students but I would spend a little more and get the higher level beds.
