First stop in SC after crossing the state line and first opportunity to take advantage of the lower state gas tax.
Busy so you may have to wait to get in line for the pumps. If you have to go inside, very busy but very clean with an opportuiniyt to grab a bite at Wendy’s, Subways or Dunkin Donuts.
Very clean for what is basically a truck stop

Cheap gas as you cross the border from North Carolina into South Carolina where the gas tax drops by about a quarter I think. There is also a Wendy’s and a Dunkin Donuts. Convenience store has a lot of good stuff for the truckers among us, including tshirts and hats but also CB radio and DVD players and other electronics that appear to be slanted towards the big rig drivers.
Easy to get back on the highway!

I had to wake up my sleeping wife because I saw a kitten in the gas station parking lot! Tried to find him after he disappeared under the car but couldn’t. He must have scampered away. Hope the little guy didn’t suffer from any fumes. This travel mart has a lot to it, including a Wendy’s. This means the bathrooms are bigger (read: not just one stall) so you don’t have to wait. I can’t possibly imagine anyone who would read this Unilocal review. If you are, you probably are like me who is writing this. We need to get out of our pajamas and DO SOMETHING today.

I never write reviews for gas stations, but I love this place! There’s just something about this place that I love. I’m not sure who runs it, but it feels like it’s a family run joint even though it’s a Wilco station. It’s also older, and not flashy, but they obviously take great care in the place. The bathrooms are always clean, and have decorations for every season. The windshield cleaner buckets are always stocked with paper towels and full of cleaning solution too, which is a pet peeve of mine. And the biggest bonus is that it’s just inside the SC border, so the gas is always a lot cheaper than in NC!

Fine place to gas up and pee when you’re on the road. They had Twizzlers in the C-​store, so all was well.
