This is my favorite place to go for pick-your-own apples! We always manage to get lost when we come here(the directions that the GPS will give you are incorrect), but it really doesn’t matter — its such a nice drive out in the country. The apple orchard isn’t the biggest, nor does it have the most varieties, but it is decently sized, and we always leave with plently of apples. I’ve found the prices here to be cheaper than most other pick your own apple places — the big bag was $ 18 this year(2012). The corn maze is great, and very detailed, and if that’s your thing you will probably enjoy it quite a bit — I did it on our visit a few years ago, and it definitely took some time to get out of. There is a farm stand selling other fruits and veggies, as well as bakery items, drinks and french fries — the french fries are amazing. If you love apples, check this place out — it isn’t quite as commercialized as some of the other PYO places, but it’s a nice time.

We went here this summer to go apple picking, it was lovely. The hayride was relaxing and the food was just delish. We got a great value for are money, and enjoyed the fresh air.

HALP! I AMTRAPPEDIN A CORNMAZE! That’s what I was saying last weekend when we came to check out the maze in the teeny tiny town of Blackstone, Ma. They recently updated the barn/farm stand where you pay for apple-picking, the pumpkin patch and the maze. They also have a selection of corn, apples, gourds etc, to buy. The corn maze was $ 8/person. We bought ourselves some caramel apples and were on our way. There is a big tractor that drives you to the beginning of the maze, which I found nice b/c you got to see the other parts of the farm. The maze itself was fun but kind of twisty and turny with lots of dead ends. It’s a maze, after all. This was a really fun thing to do, it was the prefect fall night and there weren’t that many people there so it was really enjoyable. FYI– They allow dogs here, so bring your Puppas for a nice long walk and fresh air. Beware, we had four very muddy paws when we were done, but it was worth it.: ]
