OMG. Didn’t know there were Super 8s this horrible. The PLUS was the price.$ 53. But what a dump. Walked into room and the AC was not on. Sweltering!!! took an hour for wall AC to cool from enough to sleep. Bed spread had stains(see picture) and bed had two small pillows just thrown on the bed. TV is smallest flat screen and on a dresser that’s lower than bed so you have to look down at it. Glad I’m only here to sleep for 7 hours. Oh, and it’s one of those that has a sign on the interstate but is two miles off the Interstate. Doncha hate that!!!

Oh my goodness what a wonderful place to stay! We were traveling late and called ahead and they hooked me up! The rooms were clean and looked recently updated. Staff was so nice and friendly. And she went up and turned our a/c on so the rooms would be cooled down before we arrived. We will defiantly stay here the next time we pass through!

I usually prefer Super 8 to Motel 6 for quick overnighters while I’m on the road, but this time I should have gone with Motel 6. This Super 8 is uncharacteristically broken down and dirty. It’s that kind of grime that is in the corners because there hasn’t been a detailed«white glove» cleaning in a long time. There are cracked floor borders, and on of the light switches on a lamp was nearly broken off(a fire hazard and electrocution hazard). The A/C was weak(it was hot out), and the bed spreads just looked worn and uncleaned. I understand Blackwell has had some hard times economically, but that’s no excuse for having a dirty motel. C’mon, people, up your game!

Stayed here for two nights while visiting family. You get what you pay for here(which is to say not much). For the price it’s exactly what you’d expect. The rooms are pretty clean but dated and VERY well worn. The beds are not comfortable but certainly they work for a day or two. The air conditioners are old school and loud as they kick on and off during the night, but they work to keep you cool. You get breakfast in the morning which is basic cereal, DIY waffles and oatmeal. Overall it’s not a great hotel but I’ve stayed in worse. If you just need a cheap bed for the night while passing through this will do. If you want more than that then you should spend more and get one of the nicer hotels in town.
