Bad service I would not recommend to anyone!
Drinks that were asked to be with food were brought out after when she realized that she forgot! Overall bad service, don’t waste your time!

The first visit had slow service but the food was great. We decided to give them another shot. I was very disappointed.
There were 2 people waiting tables, which was fine because there were only 2 tables occupied each with 2 people. We could hear the kitchen staff talking/​yelling complete with a spattering of curse words. While our waiter was nice enough, he spent most of our meal leaning on a counter with his back to us talking with the waitress who was sitting in the lobby. Halfway through our meal the other guests left. Being the only people there, you would think we would not have had to wait for our check! The one time we were asked how everything was, he walked away before we could answer. Our meals were average, but one was prepared very differently from how the menu described it.
We may try again, but only for breakfast like our first visit when they at least appeared to be fully staffed with competent people.

We had a terrible experience at the Denny’s Coon Rapids. There was some issue in the kitchen so wait times for meals were ridiculous. While the wait staff seemed to be at least trying to keep customers as happy as one can expect to be when waiting an unusually long time for a burger or some chicken strips (it was evening), the manager was obviously and rather loudly frustrated and critical. She berated the wait staff in front of customers, some of whom actually spoke up to defend the employees. It was an unfortunate experience which means we will not be stopping at that location again. The Coon Rapids manager should take a lesson from the Melrose Park IL location — their friendly, competent staff and manager stood in stark contrast to the bitchy high strung crab who was making a tough situation worse with her poor attitude and belittling demeanor.

great value! Some of the waitresses have worked here for YEARS too, and always have a smile. Cant go wrong with breakfast but everything is really good.
wish they would bring back that mozzarella grilled cheese tho!

Best bang for your buck in a diner style breakfast I think.
