Does anyone know which salons Bonnie and Michelle went to work at? I just know that Michelle is working in Coon Rapids. Spent a bit of time looking, but dont know their last names. Anyone? Was a big fan for almost 20 yrs. Don’t like how they handled the communication regarding the stylists that left. Very hard to get an appt. now with small staff, especially in the evening.

I have been a customer for many years and I always came here for waxing, facials and massages. I recently had a facial done with the new esthetician and I can say I wasn’t impressed. She talked the entire time and I don’t like how you have to pay extra to have extractions done and how she comes up with the price. Best part is they don’t tell you that at the front desk, I was told half way through my facial. Every other time I have had a facial, that is always included especially when the price is already $ 65. I probably won’t be coming back. Their prices are becoming out of hand and their service has gone down hill.

This was absolutely the best massage I have ever had!!! Tracy was truly professional and talented, and also very caring. She used techniques that I haven’t experienced before that were very effective. She also listened to my needs. And instead of ending the massage and sending me on my way, she set me up on the chaise lounge with a beverage and snack and cozy blanket to relax awhile longer. Absolutely fantastic!

I walked in to make an appointment because I was leaving a salon I had gone to for more than 25 years. I took the receptionist suggestion on who I should book my appointment and I was ecstatic with the results! Bonnie was an answer to a prayer. The products she used and the cut she gave me were exceptional! I couldn’t have been more pleased… not to mention that I totally enjoyed her personality. I saw her about six times and then we left for our other home. When I returned for the holidays(I had booked an appointment so I would be sure to see Bonnie), I got a call that ‘Bonnie was no longer with Jordan’. OK… so tell me where she went. Nope! No hint, no information, claimed they didn’t know what her plans were, etc. They did provide me with someone else and I got a descent cut, but not as great as Bonnie’s. I would have given them a five star rating when Bonnie was there, but the fact that they won’t give me any information about someone that had been there for an extended amount of time makes me frustrated and I will not be returning. Anyone know where Bonnie has relocated?

I have been going to Jordan’s for 6 years now. I have never gotten a haircut that I was disappointed in. I usually see Ashley and she always does such an amazing job. The only negatives are that the Riverdale location was MUCH nicer and not so cramped like the Blaine location. The prices are also somewhat high.

I tried this salon in hopes of finding a new spot close to me. I went it get my hair lightened up. The stylist asked if I wanted bayalage so I don’t have to worry about it growing out. I agreed. She seemed very uneducated in this technique. My hair looked the exact same when all was said in done. There were very few light pieces. She felt bad and kindly offered to have be come back free of charge, but after the time and money I had spent I was not going to return. The lack of education on the technique she suggested is the reason I will never back.

I have gone to this salon about six or seven times and was always happy with the experience. I loved my hair because my stylist listens to me and he is honest if what I want just wont work for my hair type. My stylist was always polite and would offer me a beverage or magazine if had to sit under the dryer and when it was time to go they always did a nice style, so if I wanted to go out that night I looked cute. If your not into the whole salon«experience» don’t come here though, Jordan A Salon is for those who like just a bit of pampering, this isn’t Fantastic Sam’s. However, if you want to sit back and do a nice mani/pedi and do something new and fun with your hair come here.

Love this place! I’ve only had massages, but they have all been amazing! I recently went to an Elizabeth Arden in Chicago and it was no where near as amazing as this place and they charged twice as much!

I’ve been by this place a hundred times… I mean that quite literally! I live a few blocks away in the TPC development so it’s not uncommon for me to drive by it 2 – 3 times a day. This morning I thought I would finally see what the buzz was about, and to be honest it has been a while since I have done anything even remotely nice for myself, let alone my hands and feet! The appointment was set for 9am, and I did make it clear that I had to be out of there by 10:30 to head to work, but I did want the full mani/pedi experience. I got there a few minutes before 9 and Michael had already set everything up and was ready to go. The pedicure lasted about 45 minutes and was SUPER relaxing! Michael is very professional, entertaining, and seriously knows what he is doing! I haven’t had a pedicure this good since I lived in Los Angeles! It’s very apparent that they use high quality salon products which is a nice change over some of the«nail salon» locations around here. Word to the wise, if your foot mask is anything other than dark green or if it’s opaque in nature, it is cheap and will more than likely not do what it is intended to do. The manicure portion took about 30 minutes from start to finish, and was concluded with a wonderful hand and arm massage with an amazing lotion that I wish I could purchase for my home! My feet feel wonderful, the nails are even and trimmed, and my hands are VERY smooth and the nails and cuticles are trimmed wonderfully. I will most assuredly be going back to here and would recommend this to not only Unilocal, but all of my friends!!!

I began using Jordan A Salon when they were based in Coon Rapids. I was very sad to see them move to Blaine, but I decided that once you find a good thing it is best to stay with it! So I drive approximately 10 miles each way to get my hair done and I am never sorry. I have had services from many of the Stylists but Mallory is my favorite! Their massage services are excellent as well.

My hairstylist Nikki has done everything ive ever asked of her, sheis absolutely fantastic, I am a VERY picky person when it comes to my hair, and honestly thoguh the place is kind of small and out of the way, I would drive forever to go see her, she is really great, I cant ever sing her praises enough!

Jordan has great prices and their staff is friendly. I used to live in Coon Rapids and loved when it was just a mile away, but then they moved to Blaine but I still remained a customer because I like this place so much. I’ve since moved to St Louis Park, but when I’m in the area, I like to make an appointment for a service because I miss having this place so close to me! The quality of service and product and employees make the drive to Blaine worth it for me. I’ve been to this salon for hair cuts, coloring services, manicures, massages and facials and have really enjoyed those services. I highly recommend Lisa for a facial, not only because she is super nice and helpful, but if you look at her own skin, you’ll understand that she really knows her stuff when it comes to skin care because her skin is gorgeous. I also am a big fan of Michael for hair services, he’s awesome. [EDITED to note that this policy I mention here is no more — yay!]: The only downside that gets them only 4 stars, is that they changed their policy recently and now only accept cash for tips and I find that to be a huge inconvenience because I never carry cash. So having to try to remember to bring cash when I go there just doesn’t happen, and then I get put into an awkward position when it comes time to pay. They are the only salon I’ve been to that has this policy and I think it stinks. But if you can get past that, this salon is really great!

The worst salon I have ever been to, and I have been to some shady salons! The stylists are more concerned with chatting it up with each other and patting each other on the backs to pay attention to the hair they have in their hands. My hair was chopped, uneven, the color was splotchy and was left on too long since the stylist was too busy chatting it up. I thought maybe this attitude would change when they changed locations, but it only got worse. If you’re not high maintenance, then you’re the scum of the earth to them. You would get a better hair service and cheaper at Great Clips. If you like your hair and want a little pampering, skip this place. I wouldn’t tell my worst enemy to be a patron to this place! They also only take cash tips, probably so they don’t have to pay taxes on that income. I remember when this place was the high end place to go, not so much now. Sad, really.
