I wish I could rate the store separately from the pharmacy. The pharmacy at this Walgreens location is absolutely terrible. I wish I could give it a zero star rating. I just moved to the area and need a new location to get my prescriptions. Since there are no Shopko’s, I needed to pick a new pharmacy to transfer them to. Being only slightly over a block away from my house, this Walgreens was my decision. I brought in my insurance and prescription information. I had a 15 minute exchange with the person at the drop-off window where I provided my phone number, the phone number of my previous pharmacy, the name and strength of my prescription, and my address. I was also asked to confirm a previous address that their computer brought up based on a search of my cell phone number. I was told I would receive a call once my prescription was ready. After three days with no call, I tried to go in to pick it up on my way to work one morning. I stood at the pharmacy counter and didn’t get acknowledged for 5 minutes, at which point I was assured I would be helped shortly. Ten minutes later, I realized I needed to leave or I would be late to work, and walked out without my prescription. With no other options to get this prescription at this point, I returned to Walgreens to try again. I was helped immediately, and asked to verify the last four digits of my phone number. It popped up on the screen and wasn’t even my phone number. They were asking me to verify the number of my old pharmacy, and I was told twice that was the only number the store had on file for me. My insurance was not on file. I paid for my prescription, no insurance, and left. I will not be back. Expect a call to transfer my prescription elsewhere. Going back to my beginning statement, I would rate this Walgreens location without the pharmacy, a 4. The staff is super friendly, but unfortunately, I will likely not be back if I do not get my prescriptions filled there.

This is the worst pharmacy experience I’ve ever had, if your daytime staff can’t prioritize between prescriptions coming in they either need more training or to be removed! The gentleman in front of me walked in to get a prescription and was told he had a 25 minute wait. After the woman fumbled with the computer and it was my turn I was also told it would be another 25 minutes although my prescription had been sent 25 minutes prior. Not sure how a 50 minute turn around time for an actual drug store is acceptable but I clearly don’t have options. All she could say was, «yeah Monday’s get crazy» there’s no one else here but me and two people. Crazy seems a bit exaggerated don’t you think? This isn’t the first bad experience I’ve had with the pharmacy here, needless to say I won’t be sending any future prescriptions here. Also listening to your staff complain that«they aren’t paid enough» to deal with certain customers is a horrific customer experience. This alone should be addressed to remind them they are behind an open partition and we can hear them complaining about us.
