Our waitress Randy was amazing! She made our experience at grizzly grill wonderful! Everything on the menu sounded delicious and it made it hard to decide! I got shrimp scampi and I loved it! I didn’t care for the cream brûlée.our friends got the cookie mess for dessert. I would definitely order that next time.

Stopped by for lunch on NYE, thank god they were open. Was in search for a burger and that’s exactly what we got! The burgers came on a house made bun and they’re huge! We had the eureka and the chipotle burgers, both were cooked perfectly medium rare and delicious. Soup of the day was clam chowder. it was good, not great. The décor is adorable and very cozy! Also ordered the locally brewed Ambush IPA, which was amazing. Our server Shannon later told us The Brewery Lair was just up the street. be sure to stop there — new favorite brewery by far! If I’m in the area again, I will definitely grab my meal here!

Everything was delicious! Generous portions served with a smile. We had the Patty Melt, California Burger and Clam Chowder soup. All delicious. The CA was huge! :)

We stopped by this restaurant about 20 minutes to closing and were greeted with a smile. Some places in this area are not that nice about late dinners. Boy we were pleasantly surprised! Food is great! The chef, Brenda P. Even came out and asked about food. I had some prawns that were so juicy and tasty, your taste buds just hum. My husbands steak was done to perfection and his potatoes had great flavor. Kudos to Brenda, she’s a great cook. Prices are high but good quality usually is. I would suggest some tablecloths or pads for chairs to help soften the atmosphere. Everything is that wood cabin look that kind of clashes with the menu of fine dining. That and the chairs aren’t that comfortable. Otherwise recommend for a nice meal out.

The Grizzly Grill is our new favorite restaurant in Graeagle area, we’ve had four dinners and one lunch and all have been consistently delicious. The new owner/chef does the tastiest seafood pasta, great steaks and a fantastic lamb shank! I love that food tastes like food-excellent combinations and seasonings. Staff is always very welcoming, pleasant and accommodating. Suggest reservations as they are local favorite!

Two stars. Yep and that’s being generous. While home for a family function my brother and I with families in tow went to the grizzly grill at the recommendation of our family. My nephew and I ordered their chicken parm because we wanted to see who did the better job. The other restaurant down the street won hands down. Period. I don’t know what kind of chef would ever think pairing chicken parm with pasta with some under seasoned cream sauce on it. It was truly terrible. The chicken tasted like it was boiled then breaded up and maybe fried. It was mushy and tasteless. My sister in law had a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. We had to send the chicken back because it tasted freezer burned. 3 of 6 dinners were terrible. Not good odds. I would go back simply because everyone deserves a second chance. Here’s my tip. Ask for marinara on the pasta and it might help matters. I hope they can correct some mistakes.

Worst burger I’ve had in greagle in my entire life. Spent $ 30 and tipped for uncooked burgers. Super pink in the middle and a soggy bun. Never eating there again. –local

New ownership but the food is delicious. We all had something different and there was no food left on our plates. I had the fettucini with prawns and spinach. It was so good. My son had the salmon and risotto which he ate in record time. His friend had the Grizzly burger. It was huge. He ate the whole thing. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5; very expensive. $ 23 and up for a pasta dish? I think that’s excessive. Other than that the food is great.

The burgers were huge and the fries were super crispy on the outside & fluffy on the inside. Nice staff and just a great find in a small town.

Our golf club went to Tahoe for a weekend getaway trip. We booked our member’s dinner at the Grizzly Grill. Everything turned out to be great! I spoke with Chris(chef and owner) quite a few times about menu, headcount, detailed arrangement. He is very accommodating and responsive. We were happy to have a side room assigned to us to have a bit privacy and not bothering other customers. The food was awesome. For every member I spoke with, the feedback was great. Randi, who handles customers and services, was terrific. We cannot be happier with our experience. Thank you!

We came here for lunch the other day while in town for the weekend – it was fine. When we had to figure out dinner in a pinch, we just decided it would be easy to go back, so we did. The place was not even at 1⁄3 capacity, and despite there being 5 servers walking around(some seemingly with nothing to do) we stood there waiting for be seated for several minutes(like almost 10 minutes, which is crazy when servers are just walking past you and looking at you, then continuing on). Finally one of them told us to sit wherever we wanted(this is one who milled around, then opted to answer the phone, make another round of her tables, take wine orders, etc. all before just seating us). She seated us with no menus then walked away. Minutes later another server showed up with menus, and when I saw that a plate of pasta was $ 25, we got up and left. We’re both used to Bay Area prices, but for sh*t service like that, in a little town, nooooope. Ended up getting a great burrito and nachos at a strip mall mexican spot. Two stars are bc lunch was aiiiight(the service was quick and friendly)

Wow! The Grizzly Grill is fabulous! Chef Chris Simone is back working his magic. The clam chowder is outstanding… As is everything else we ate. It is a warm welcoming environment. The people are so friendly and service was excellent. The bar is beautiful and a fun place to go before dinner. Can’t wait to go back!

Very nice dinner. We had pot roast, moist and tender, the sauce was to die for. Also had the Prawns and pasta, also very good. Been here many times, usually good.

Apparently the Grizzly Grill goes up and down with the chefs who come and go. Right now, the chef is awesome, and we had a terrific meal. We shared a Blue Wedge salad, which could not have been better. It was made with dark green romaine lettuce – a whole half head – crumbled blue cheese, bacon bits, crumbled eggs and tasty tomatoes(amazing in March!). Our main course was the Mahi Mahi special. It came with soup, salad and garlic mashed potatoes, all terrific. The fish was wonderfully grilled on the outside, tasty and moist on the inside. They topped the meal off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of classic chocolate sauce. This is a marvelous diner, with the woodsy feel of summer camp. The staff was friendly. We had a good time.(Pretty darn good for a Sunday night during the low season.)

My friend and I took a quick getaway to Graeagle last weekend, and we had dinner at Grizzly Grill on Friday night. The Caesar salad was excellent, and the fettuccine with prosciutto was heavenly. We spoke with the chef Janet, who was very nice. A very nice experience all around. I will definitely come back next time I’m in town.
