Well run simple sandwich shop w tables in back. Top grade provisions. OK bagels are better than they were 2 years ago. Some say expensive, but they need to charge what they do to stay in business in a town that famously could not support a Subway or a McDonalds.(Yes a McDonalds failed in Blairstown) . Order the Don G, a great sandwich, IMHO coffee IS better at Blairstown Diner.

It’s alright… they finally improved their bagels, the coffee is okay as well. However, in my opinion they are too expensive for just about everything that they sell. I guess the location has enabled them to raise the prices and not worry about losing customers. That said, there are better options at the Gourmet gallery in town, and Café Nelle by North Warren Pharmacy. However, those two can also be hit or miss as well.

The Dog House is a family owned deli with great meat sandwiches and bagels. Order a Dagwood or Rueben — good stuff. The family routinely contributes to local high school functions. Nice people! And, they’re NY Giants fans!

It’s ok… you’ll find better fare down the street at Café Nelle…

A sign above the front door of this small, roadside deli says: «The Home of the Best Sandwiches in the World», after ordering a plethora of sandwiches for our caravan back to New York City, we cannot dispute this claim. Delicious! They truly do have some of the best, well-priced, hand-crafted sandwiches – and above all, incredibly friendly service. Well done.
