The Home Depot

Horrible customer service. We went to the flooring area to look at flooring and the employee was too busy complaining to another employee about HD management. When he did get to work he rudely pushed his cart pass me and bumped my purse off my arm. No apologies whatsoever. Went to garden center and aisles were so clogged with boxes we couldn’t see what we came for. This store needs to work on their issues!

Poor quality merchandise! Horrible customer service! Terribly understocked! Never will I again darken the door. If I could could give less than one star I would! Not only have they sold me two complete lemons in riding lawn mowers, Both were Cub Cadet brand and both complete engine failures. Conveniently enough for Home Depot, as it turned out both failures occurred just past the cut off dates for the warranties! Only missing the cut off dates for the manufacturer warranty by mere days, perhaps a month tops! I do understand this to be a problem best addressed by the manufacturer and specifically with the Engine manufacture, however I feel this does speak to the integrity of a large chain. It definitely indicates a, «Profit Before Quality» mentality which is all to common in our wonderful, greed infected, modern America. If all that wasn’t enough this particular location never has anything I inquire about in stock! This last and quite honestly, most likely final visit was to simply browse their selection of home security cameras. I didn’t have high expectations walking in mind you but I was close buy and killing some time anyway. I will give them a nod for their constancy, their constancy in exceeding, exceeding to deliver customer service below my already extremely low expectations! After inquiring the location of their home security section, home security cameras in particular, I was informed that they do not stock home security items and definitely carried no cameras of any kind and that I would have to look online to find an item as exotic and unusual as a, «Home Security» camera! I even received the, «Man! You Are Dumb For Asking That,» look complete with a complementary rolling of the eyes for my trouble. I immediately raised the white flag in surrender and dejectedly left the store. I give up, I give up on this location certainly, if not possible, this entire chain as a whole!

I absolutely love Home Depot. I wish Murphy would get one. They are customer oriented, have a very clean store, and always have the materials we are looking for. They also have the wonderful flat carts for loading lumber at Lowes does not.

I originally posted that this store is so so in customer service. Since then the store has made everything right with me. I just wish one of these type stores had some sort of customer service program for single women that went beyond talking to you on the phone and could actually send a service person out to help. I would pay to keep all the hassle down. Think about this Home Depot!
