Church’s Chicken

Service was very slow. Staff didn’t seem to want to be there. We went at 2 on a Saturday afternoon and they told the people who came in after us that the cook had just gone home so they couldn’t get what they wanted, even though they were open for hours more. Fries were overly salted and diet coke machine was flat. On a plus Biscuits were good and chicken was hot.

Came to this establishment around 8pm on Saturday and no one responded at the drive thru so I had to go in. I stood at the counter and four people in uniform walked past me and didn’t show any interest in taking my order. I finally asked the lady behind the counter, who’s back was to me the entire time, if they were open. She was very short with me, when responding that they were. She told me that they only were selling what was left. I asked for a two piece chicken box because I saw that they still had a variety left. She didn’t ask me if I wanted dark meat or white meat. She turned around and threw two pieces of chicken in the box and gave me a burned biscuit. Despite the fact that I was nice to her, she could care less. I understand that closing time people are ready to leave and it might have been a long day, but regardless, you still have a job to do and a big part of it is customer service. I won’t be purchasing from this store again, not because the food wasn’t decent, but because the way someone treats me while at their establishment sometimes weighs more.
