This place is now closed. Don’t know what happened and it all happened quickly, but it has been closed for a while now.

We returned again last Saturday night and found that the owner has employed a new manager and wait staff. We ordered the Dublin bay casserole and shepherds pie. The main courses were very good and the portions were about right. Our waitress, Shannon, could not have been more friendly and helpful. The new manager, Amy, stopped by to see if everything was satisfactory. The front bar area was rather loud with sports TV on, but the rear dining area was quiet(what happened to the music?). While the bread basket was forgotten, we were given a complimentary dessert. All in all, a pleasant and pleasing dinner. Unexpectedly, later in the evening at another bar, we ran across a former employee of Paddy’s. He provided details about what lead to the changes in management and staff. For those who had a previous bad experience, we think you will surprised and pleased with the pub now.

Absolutely horrible! We came here after the warrior dash. We sat ourselves since the sign told us to. Then the manager come running to us to wait by the bar for 15 minutes. 30 minutes pass without an acknowledgment from anyone. So we went to bar and serviced ourselves by ordering our own food. The bartender, Josh was great. Pretty much the only person who did work in the entire place. But there was only so much he can do. After we ordered, we waited at least 45 — 50 minutes for our food. It never came. In the hour and 15 minutes, the manager or the waitress never came by or acknowledged us. We left and went to hilltop farms about 10 miles down. Good and cheap food. Best of all we waited only 10 minutes! Nevertheless, avoid this place if possible. Worst service and the worst managed place ever.

First time I would have to rate this place better, but as business shows and reviews show they are starting to get worst. The food was horrible. The service was good, but I’m there to eat and drink. The beer is cold, but they primarily have corporate beer on tap. You guys got rid of the magic hat, and replaced it with some coors product. Please fix your establishment.

I only give one star because there is no option for no stars! This restaurant opened 1 year ago about memorial day, I live 2 miles from it and have been patronizing it because its convenient. I cant keep my mouth shut anymore. In the beginning it was great, then they eliminated the wonderful menu they originally had, later they had a bar menu… which was ok. but at least you didnt pay a fortune for garbage food. then they eliminated the bar menu. After patronizing this restaurant more than 50 times, each time, going back trying to give them a chance to get their act together, and trying to support new, small business; I am done. Of my many visits, I had bad shrimp… yes they apologized and did not charge me but I never forgot that awful taste in my mouth. I gave them another chance, we kept hoping they would get their act together. We even had the chef, SEAN, who came out to talk to us and claims he was an owner. He promised they were trying to fix the problems with the restaurant, but 3 months later, to no avail. I had burnt cheeseburgers, when I requested rare, bad shrimp, horrible corned beef sandwich(which you expect to be good from an irish restaurant. We started going there because my husband liked the wings… that was a year ago, he kept hoping they would make them not dried out and hot … but again to no avail. All Summer, hot and humid, we walk in, doors are open, no screens, flies taking over. humid. not exactly the environment I want to spend my hard earned money on. Everytime we have gone … there is a new waitress, new bartender and new chef… Yes the décor is beautiful but customers are paying for customer service and quality! DONOTGOHEREUNLESSYOUWANTDOGFOOD.

We went here for Sam’s and Clams Wednesday night. I ordered two pounds of clams, and they had Magic Hat #9 on tap. The service was fantastic. The clams were absolutely delicious! I also had the calamari, and we all split the bread bowl crab dip after our meal. The food was absolutely fantastic! The place was clean and it looked great inside(Irish Pub theme). From what I understand, the owners are Irish and so is the Chef(he came out and had a Guiness with us when the kitchen closed). Overall it was a great experience and I couldn’t be happier with the service, the ambiance, and the quality and portions of the food. 4 stars! We plan to make this a regular spot. I heard really good things about the wings, guess I’ll have to try them next time! One more thing to note — they do not take vouchers. There were signs all over the place(I guess they get that a lot). There is a review by Toni S on 1/9/2011that mentions that they used a certificate. It probably should be edited or removed.

I agree with the above review. Thank goodness I had a certificate that helped defray the cost of the meal. I would have been extremely annoyed if I had to pay close to $ 40 for lunch for two. Let me start by saying that menu items are overpriced and portions ridiculously small. I ordered a burger and inquired if they were cooked on a char grill or flat top as I prefer a char grill for the smoky flavor of a burger. I was informed it was a char grill. Nothing could have been further from the truth. The burger was lackluster and had no flavor. I also ordered onion rings at $ 4.95 and received 6 onion rings on a plate. That’s right., 6 ! They were just ordinary onion rings. I guess I’m spoiled. I’m used to receiving a heaping platter and would have been more than happy to pay for the additional cost if the portion size was fair. It’s truly a shame. The restaurant itself is actually quite nice, the décor clean and lovely.(well it should be, they just opened this past summer) Too bad the food doesn’t live up to the expectations. As for my comment regarding the voucher– I had used it at the time of my visit(and still have the receipt available on my account) Whether Paddy Kennys accepts them now or not is unknown to me since I haven’t been back to the establishment since the time of my review.

A Wonderful Experience… Great Service… Awesome Wings, Salad, and Perfectly Chilled Beer. Even the Dessert was enough to bring me back again… A Good Meal at Fair Prices !!!

Let me qualify this by saying that I really hate, I mean HATE, wannabe Irish places. Don’t get me started, but putting some wooden beams on the ceiling, throwing«Irish» phrases on a few signs, and serving Guinness does not an authentic Irish Pub make. The servers were nice, although they didn’t offer us any water with our meals. We had a few of the«Irish» entrees and they were average, almost good in flavor, but completely overpowered by salt. I don’t have a high threshold for salt, but this left my tongue burning. Siamsa still wins for the best Irish bar and restaurant in the region.
