We found the campground through Pocono Whitewater when we came to the area to do the big day out adventure. The campground was very accommodating to put our RV and a couple of tents together on adjoining sites. All the staff we encountered from phone calls, emails and in person were extremely friendly and accommodating. The campground was well-maintained but had that rustic atmosphere. The gravel roads were in good condition the campsites were clean. We loved the way the sites were laid out using the natural rock from the area to mark the boundaries and build the fire rings. The price seemed extremely reasonable and they do offer Good Sam, AAA and military discounts. We would definitely return again!

New owners new and refreshing atmosphere. Nick, Denise and Nicki are real friendly and hands on owners. They participate in all the fun games and projects for the kids and adults. The store is always opened when it’s supposed to be and is well stocked for your camping needs. I’ve been going there for several years and never had as much fun as me and my family are having there now. Spotless bathroom and shower facilities and a clean pool. I look forward to keeping my seasonal campsite for years to come. My family and I highly recommend trying it. Also it’s within walking distance of Pocono International Raceway.

My group and I have spent 2 summers camping at WT Family campground and are extremely happy with their facility. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. The sites are large and clean. The main bath house is spotless. The pool is well maintained. The prices for supplies at the camp store are very reasonable. I read the previous review and I’m wondering if they stayed at the same campground. The cost per site in 2012 and 2013 are $ 35/nite … $ 40 if you want water and electricity. Are there better campgrounds? Maybe … but I think it would be nitpicking. The only real deficiency was a mini-golf course in need of a touch-up but that could make playing sort of hilarious. The ONLY reason I gave the campground 4 instead of 5 stars is that being next to the Pocono Raceway it can be busy during the race season and the road /race noise kind of hums through the air. If you are a race fan it’s a bonus«soundtrack» subtly in the background. It’s not loud or distracting but can be heard. I enjoyed it but I realize others might not. In summary: If you are looking for a campground in the Poconos, especially near the racetrack, look no further.
