The owners are very knowledgeable and helpful. I’ve been going there for 7 years and I could not be more grateful for everything Mike (the co-​owner) has taught me about proper guitar care. If you’re looking for the selection of a large chain store coupled with the customer service of a local mom and pop shop, Meadowood Music is the place for you. It’s the only shop I go to for all my guitar needs.

Wonderful atmosphere for the serious musical palette, save the «hey man» … the typical greeting one receives when entering your typical musical supply Megastore. ONLY quality instruments here, albeit NOT snobbish, as they cater to «common folk» that includes beginners.

Great music store! Mike and Paula take the time to help you find the instrument that is right for you. They are very knowledgeable about guitars and happily share this knowledge with their customers or browsers. I visited they store on main st in Kutztown while a student there and came back to their new location. They made my first Martin purchase a special one at a very good price. Great to support independent stores. Keep up the good work!

I can’t say enough good things about this music store. I actually live about thirty miles from this store and have about eight music stores within ten miles from me. I went to all of them during my quest to buy my first guitar and frankly allot of them sell lower end «student» instruments or the sales people made me feel like I was an idiot for not knowing about guitars. Mike and Paula at Meadowood were the exact opposite of those other stores and they took the time to educate me on the different guitars they sell and let me tinker with them. They have a wonderful selection of great quality instruments at good prices. The sales staff are the owners and they know what they are talking about (something that is rare in most other music stores now a days)
