Went to this I-Hop tonight and the food was terrible. The waiter was really nice the restaurant was very clean but empty. Besides us there was one other couple there. I ordered fried the 4 pc. fried chicken with fries and corn. The leg, thigh and wing of the chicken was awful, dried out and hard, the breast was good. I complained and the manager said the chicken comes frozen and already fried, they don’t fry it fresh. She did offer me something else, but I turned down her offer, because there was not anything I saw on the menu that appealed to me. The corn was mushy like it had been sitting in water all day. The garlic bread was just warm and I could pick up a fry and eat it with no problem. I like my fries and garlic toast hot, especially when the restaurant is empty. My son ordered the strawberry stuffed French toast that was suppose to be stuffed with cream cheese but the stuffing tasted like confectioners’ sugar, water and some kind of flavoring, the filling was gritty and awful! The raspberry tea was so sweet until I would not allow my son a second glass, instead I asked for a glass of water for him. I will not go to I-Hop again.

Sooooooo, the babe and I decided to do Sunday breakfast takeout today. I pulled myself out of bed, got dressed and started to make the relatively short trip to the restaurant. I figured it would be best to call once I got about halfway there, because they may be busy… I call, and get put on hold, and by the time I was standing in the restaurant, I was still on hold… I stood there for 15 minutes and wasn’t acknowledged by the hostess until I got tired of feeling the cold air on my back from the door constantly opening and closing. *sigh* No pancakes would be worth pneumonia. I’m annoyed that no one tended to my call and I was ignored once there… it should be called, «IHOP to NO» as opposed to IHOP to go… I understand that they were busy, I promise I do. They need to work on being better staffed during peak times, especially with phone in orders, or at the very least, train their employees to greet they’re customers… *note…the order was correct and the food was pretty good, but I’m still cold.
The food is okay just as at any other ihops. But problem here is lack of circulation of air. The moment you enter, the stink of cooking gets absorbed in your clothes. Your clothes would stink whole day.

Well IHOP is as an IHOP is. The food wasn’t bad. Hash browns were very dry and the waitress didn’t come back so I could order butter to put on the hash browns. Because the waitress didn’t come back, I almost died of thirst. And I truly mean die. I may have just killed myself. It wasn’t good. Good luck if you come here. You will need it, so you get a good waitress.

We go here sometimes when we are at Costco. I can say with certainty that this is the very best IHOP in the Costco parking lot!
