Laurel Women’s Medical Group

I love all the women at LWMG! Dr. Smith does a wonderful job of putting me at ease. She walks me through everything she’s doing, has a lighthearted and calming tone, and is very knowledgable. I love how much one on one time I get with her; this isn’t an office where you spend the majority of your appointment with a nurse rushing you through questions (and the nurses here are wonderful!). Dr. Smith took her time to get to know me and spent time discussing my needs. I feel like I’m in good hands in her care. I also have nothing but praise for the rest of the women working here — when I switched insurance and my previous birth control was no longer covered, Anita spent a significant amount of time on the phone with me walking me through my options, which blew me away. All my calls are answered promptly and questions receive a call back in a very short amount of time. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

Dr. Smith is an amazing doctor who was thorough, caring and certainly one to recommend. I wish I could remain a patient today.
Unfortunately, one of the main nurses was one of the rudest people I have ever met in my life. She scolded me on multiple occasions while I was pregnant, was quite judgmental without cause or without listening to my situation, and dismissed a concern of mine that ultimately led me into surgery. If I was in a better position at the time I would’ve taken more of a stand. Not sure why she chooses this profession but it has prevented me from going back to this office.
