On a good day with the right cook, best breakfast burritos ever, however extremely inconsistent and poor order accuracy. Nothing like when I was a teen here some 30 yrs ago. Disappointing reunion of a childhood favorite.

Pretty much my favorite green chile burger. I am a long time Lotaburger patron and think it is a great chain(come to Colorado please). This outpost is one of the best. They are very busy, but always well staffed with friendly people. Burger is made to order and chile is always fresh and had good heat.

Blake’s is a throw back to a different time. A 1960’s style chain of burger shops, with no drive through and a creepy clown logo. In fact if you live n Denver, you’ll find it similar to Griff’s. The burgers are odd. They f airily tasty, but not juicy. They taste like a commercial production burger, but slightly better. Its probably a 3 star joint, but the retro feel and the classic diner style stainless steel interior attracts me.

Blake’s is great burger. Fresh. Tasty. Good value. Food is made to order. But it is NOT fast food… and here is why; 1.) Burger is cooked, then fries and then bagged to go… in serial, 2.) ‘Serial’ means that the fries were not started until the burger was done. Once burger and fries were done, both sat until someone was available to put them in a bag with ketchup. They all could be out much faster if processes could be done in parallel, 3.) Nothing was done quickly or with any rush. We were on the way to CO., dashing thru NM — and this took 17 minutes to get an order(hence the fallen star). I loved the burger with green chiles + cheese — which was worth the wait.
