Rip off. Beware they have wines on sale up front but if you don’t realize your bill they do not have the sale prices when you check out. Totally would never return

User caution here the prices are higher than average. While others on Unilocal say it’s slightly higher I find liquor to be 3 to 5 dollars higher and 3 to 10 higher on wine. I refuse to go back.

If you’re headed to Stamna for dinner, be sure to stop by here beforehand (it’s just a few doors down). This place is massive and has all your booze bases covered. While it’s not going to be a regular stop for wine connoisseurs, it should be able to fill anyone else’s needs.
Apparently this place has gone by a few different names over the years. It’s currently called «Brookdale Wine Country.»

I don’t get the bad reviews. I guess from competitors, a pretty sad fact of Unilocal.I like this place and I’ve been coming for awhile. Very good beer selection.
It’s true that the prices might not be the lowest — but they aren’t crazy at all, and you can get some good values here. The store people I’ve encountered are nice, and pretty helpful. Beats snooty any day, and I know a couple liquor stores like that.

This place has a pretty good selection but beware! If you are buying multiple items, make sure you have the final price or a good estimate of the total before you pay at the counter. One of the guys will try to rip you off by charging you more than the actual total. Be careful! I used to come to this place a lot but after witnessing and almost falling victim to this unethical behavior, I’m pretty much done with this place.

Prices are high here. WARNING: If you come across the old lady behind the counter beware of having any small talk with her!!! If you do she will answer with ‘WHAT DO YOU WANT”. Awful customer service! I will now be taking my business to Broad Liquors a mile down next to Stop & Ship in Clifton. A little further away but customer service is so much pleasant AND prices are just right!

Pricey with an OK selection of beers — generally 15−20% premium to good stores. Convenient location for the best Greek restaurant in NJ (Stamna) but you can do better within a few miles.

A modest selection of beer, wine and spirits. The prices are a touch high.
Overall a good local place that is convenient, but better prices and a better selection are a short car ride away.
