My cousin took me to this place and surprisingly the food there turned out really good. We ordered from their specialties and we loved the coral shrimp. I was just wondering why the rating is so low here. You can’t ask for too much especially when you’re only paying $ 7 for a meal.

I just ordered from this place and who ever took my order was nice. She repeated my order back to me and got it right but they messed up on giving me the spare ribs when I asked for boneless. Another thing is I didn’t get napkins and that just seems odd to me.

My friends and I got delivery last night and were really happy with everything we ordered. Our favorites were the spare rib tips, fried wontons ($ 10 for $ 3.50!!), and pork fried rice. So cheap and really fast delivery.

I don’t know why the rating is so low for this restaurant. Came here for lunch since I need to fix my car. Nice staff and my shrimp broccoli lunch special was cheap and so delicious. Worth every penny I spent. I will recommend it.

If I could rate them a 0 for customer service I would. Horrible horrible horrible. I called to place an order, for pick up. I told the man I would like him to charge me over the phone because the person picking it up from me was already out, so I told him I’ll give you the card information and just charge it now that way the person can go in and pick up the food and leave. He said they can’t do that, they don’t charge cards over the phone… I said so for delivery you can charge me over the phone? Making NO SENSE! He just hung up on me. Which was very very RUDE! I called back and asked if he hung up on me he said no the phone is broken, reallllllllyyyyyyy??? never again

This has got to be one of the worst Chinese restaurants I’ve had my entire life. First, the service sucked. My food was done so quick that it wasn’t even cooked inside, mind you it wasn’t even busy! Dude gave me my food in a bag, with NO fork and didn’t ask if I wanted any sauce –__– then he got an attitude when I asked for a drink after asking for the fork that was supposed to be there in the first place ! Ayayay, no wonder it was empty when I walked in.

Mediocre. I’m used to savory egg foo young gravy, tan in color. Not theirs. Dark brown and sweet. Egg foo young and pork fried rice lacking in pork. Delivery quick. But!!! I won’t order again from them. Shame because original number one (used to be my fav) has slipped and we don’t have a new place yet.
On a good note, tofu was good

Decent, quick, take-out Chinese food. Ordered boneless ribs (a little too greasy) and dumplings (they were pretty good). The police go here so it must be good. I will try some other stuff on the lunch menu in the future.

Based on the other review and being new to town, I ordered from China Taste for take out on a Thursday night. This was a bit of a disappointing experience overall, and I love chinese food and can’t seem to find good takeout in this area.
The egg rolls were fried wraps filled with cabbage… only. Literally nothing else inside of it – no pork, no shrimp, no other flavor, vegetable, nothing. My boyfriend remarked it was the «most plain egg roll ever» and he didn’t think you could make a bad egg roll! lol
The beef with string beans was inedible to me. The beef was rubbery and full of fat and after 1 small bite I moved on to a special chicken dish we ordered – which as better but still not great. The rice was a bit dry and definitely bland as well.
We are still on the look out for chinese take out – not many Unilocal reviews for places nearby so if you are a Bloomfield neighbor and have a standby place please send me a message!

China Taste is the best Chinese take-out in Bloomfield that I have come across. The food is so good and fresh. The prices are great; I have had several dishes and they were all tasty.
They will take debit/credit!
